Export BoxHero Supplier and Customer Records Into a Excel workbook

The Scenario

The finance team wants a copy of every BoxHero supplier on file before the end-of-month vendor audit. They've asked for name, type (supplier vs. customer), and contact details — formatted in an Excel workbook they can sort and cross-reference against the accounts payable ledger.

You've been using BoxHero for eight months. You're not sure how many partners are in there. Somewhere between 40 and 80, depending on whether the seasonal vendors from last quarter are still active. The person who originally set up BoxHero left the company in February, and nobody knows if the partner records are complete.

The bad version:

  • Open BoxHero's partner list, scroll through it, manually copy each supplier name, type, phone, and email into a new workbook row.
  • Realize BoxHero doesn't show contact details in the list view — you need to open each partner record individually.
  • Open 60 individual partner records, copy the details, switch to your workbook, paste. Realize five of them have no contact email and you've now lost your place in the list.

The vendor audit report goes to the controller by end of day. This is supposed to be a 20-minute task.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads your workbook, connects to BoxHero through its built-in integration, and writes partner records — with all available contact fields — directly into your columns.

Export all BoxHero partners (suppliers and customers) into my Excel workbook with their name, type, and contact details

What You Get

  • One row per BoxHero partner, written starting at row 2 with headers in row 1.
  • Columns: Name, Partner Type (Supplier / Customer / Other), Contact Email, Contact Phone.
  • Partners with no contact email or phone get a blank in those cells rather than an error — you know the record exists but is incomplete.
  • The output includes all partner types; you can ask SheetXAI to filter to suppliers only in your prompt.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You only want suppliers, not customers or other partner types

Export all BoxHero partners where type is "Supplier" only into this workbook — name, contact email, phone, and last transaction date.

Some partner records are missing contact emails and you want to flag them

Pull all BoxHero partners into this workbook. In column E, flag any row where contact email is missing with "Email needed" so the finance team knows which records to chase down.

Finance wants the list sorted by last activity so dormant suppliers appear at the bottom

Pull all BoxHero partners into this workbook with name, type, contact details, and last transaction date. Sort by last transaction date descending so the most recently active suppliers appear first.

Full kill chain — export, flag incomplete records, filter to active, add last order value

Pull all BoxHero partners into this workbook. Include name, type, contact email, phone, and last transaction date. Flag partners with no email in column F. Filter out any partner whose last transaction date is more than 12 months ago — write those to a separate worksheet called "Dormant." For active partners, add a column G showing the total value of transactions in the last 12 months pulled from BoxHero transaction records.

Ask for the segmentation and the derived columns in the same prompt.
