You are a retail promotions manager. It is Thursday at 3 PM and your summer sale starts tomorrow at 8 AM. You have an SMS campaign to send to three Brevo contact lists — the list IDs are 101, 204, and 317. The message copy is sitting in cell B2 of your Excel workbook, approved by legal twenty minutes ago.
The bad version of this afternoon:
- You log into Brevo and navigate to SMS Campaigns
- You click "Create SMS Campaign," name it, select the sender
- You paste in the message text from the workbook
- You add the recipient lists one by one, looking up which list name corresponds to IDs 101, 204, and 317
- You schedule the send for 8 AM tomorrow
- You realize you misspelled "Summer" in the campaign name and go back to fix it
- You check three times before leaving the office because you are not confident you scheduled the right lists.

When the message copy is in multiple draft cells
Your legal team left three version options in cells B2, B3, and B4, and you need to pick the shortest one.
Check the character count of the text in cells B2, B3, and B4 of this workbook. Write the character count of each next to the cell in column C. Then create a Brevo SMS campaign called "Summer Sale 2025" using whichever version is under 160 characters.
When you have different messages for different lists
The sale terms are slightly different for loyalty customers versus general subscribers.
Create two Brevo SMS campaigns. The first, called "Summer Sale — Loyalty," should use the text in cell B2 and target list ID 101. The second, called "Summer Sale — General," should use the text in cell B3 and target list IDs 204 and 317. Schedule both for tomorrow at 8 AM.
When the list IDs are in a column instead of fixed cells
You have a column of list IDs in column A (five rows) and one message in cell B1 for all of them.
Create a Brevo SMS campaign called "Summer Sale 2025" using the message text in cell B1 of this workbook. Target all list IDs listed in column A. Schedule for tomorrow at 8 AM.
When you need the campaign created and a log entry written back in one shot
Your team tracks outbound campaigns in a Campaign Log tab and needs the campaign name, send time, and list IDs recorded there after creation.
Create a Brevo SMS campaign called "Summer Sale 2025" using cell B2 as the message text and targeting list IDs 101, 204, and 317. Schedule for tomorrow at 8 AM. Then write a new row in the Campaign Log tab with the campaign name, scheduled send time, and list IDs in columns A, B, and C.
