Find Verified Emails From LinkedIn URLs in an Excel workbook Using Clearout

The Scenario

The recruiter ran the sourcing pass last week. Two hundred fifty LinkedIn profile URLs, collected one by one, now sitting in column A with nothing else. The outreach can't start until there are email addresses.

It's Wednesday afternoon. The hiring manager wants a status update by Friday. The first batch of outreach messages needs to go out by end of week if the role is going to close before the quarter ends.

The bad version:

  • Copy the URLs out of the workbook, paste them into Clearout's LinkedIn lookup tool in batches.
  • Wait for the results, download the CSV.
  • Open the CSV and the original workbook side by side, match URLs to rows, paste in the email and company columns, note which rows came back empty.
  • Start a manual follow-up pass for the profiles Clearout couldn't match.

Two hundred fifty rows. Two windows. Three copy-paste passes. Somewhere around row 80, the sort order question comes up and suddenly nothing is matching.

The recruiter has done this before. It always takes longer than it looks like it should.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads the LinkedIn URLs in column A, calls Clearout's LinkedIn reverse lookup for each one, and writes the returned email, name, and company directly into the columns you specify — without leaving the workbook.

For each LinkedIn URL in column A, use Clearout LinkedIn reverse lookup to find the person's email, full name, and company — write results into columns B, C, and D.

What You Get

  • Column B: the verified email address associated with that LinkedIn profile, where Clearout found one
  • Column C: full name from the LinkedIn profile
  • Column D: current company from the profile
  • Rows where no email was found get a blank in column B — not a dropped row, not a silent skip
  • The result is in the same workbook, same row order, no reconciliation pass needed

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Some URLs in column A are malformed or missing the https:// prefix

Before running the Clearout LinkedIn lookup, normalize all URLs in column A — add the https:// prefix where missing, strip trailing slashes — then run the lookup for all 250 rows and write email to column B, name to column C, company to column D.

I want to flag the rows where no email came back so I can route them for manual sourcing

Look up all 250 LinkedIn URLs in column A with Clearout — write email to column B, full name to column C, company to column D. Mark any row where no email was found with "manual sourcing needed" in column E.

Some candidates are from companies on a do-not-contact list in a second worksheet

After running Clearout LinkedIn lookup and writing email to column B and company to column D, check column D against the company names in the "DNC List" worksheet — flag any row where the company matches as "DNC" in column E.

Find emails, flag gaps, and build the outreach-ready list in one prompt

Look up all LinkedIn URLs in column A with Clearout, write email to column B, name to column C, company to column D. Delete rows where no email was returned, mark rows where the returned email is from a free-provider domain (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) as "personal email — verify" in column E, and write the final count of outreach-ready contacts at the bottom.

The workbook that comes out of that prompt is the one that goes into the outreach tool — no second pass required.
