Export ClickMeeting Poll and Q&A Results Into a Excel workbook

The Scenario

The product team is waiting on the Q&A data and your content calendar is blocked.

You're a content strategist at a SaaS company. Last month you ran a 90-minute product webinar with three polls and a live Q&A session. The session recording is done, the analytics dashboard is closed, but the actual poll responses and Q&A questions — the raw material for your next three content pieces — are still sitting inside ClickMeeting's session records.

Your editor is waiting for the Q&A transcript. The product manager wants the poll breakdown before Wednesday's sprint planning. You need both.

The bad version:

  • Log into ClickMeeting, navigate to the session record, find the poll results tab, screenshot or manually transcribe each poll question and answer option with its vote count
  • Navigate to the Q&A tab, scroll through 47 questions, copy them out one at a time because the export doesn't include answers in the same file as questions
  • Realize halfway through you have the wrong session ID and start over

This is content strategy work, not data entry. The 90 minutes you spend on this is 90 minutes you're not writing.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads the session and poll IDs, pulls the poll and Q&A data from ClickMeeting, and writes it into the workbook — question text, answer options, vote counts, and Q&A pairs, all in one pass.

Fetch poll details for each session ID and poll ID in this workbook and write the question text, each answer option, and its vote count into columns A through D.

What You Get

  • One row per answer option, with the question text repeated in column A for each row so it's filterable
  • Answer options in column B, vote counts in column C, and percentage share in column D
  • Q&A history in a separate pass: question text in column A, answer text in column B, per row

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

The workbook has session IDs but not poll IDs — you need SheetXAI to discover them

You know the session IDs but didn't capture the individual poll IDs when you ran the event.

For each session ID in column A, fetch all associated polls from ClickMeeting — list each poll ID and question into column B and column C — then fetch the answer options and vote counts for each poll and append them below.

You want both the poll data and the Q&A data in one worksheet with a type column to distinguish them

The editor wants a single export file, not two separate worksheets.

For session ID in cell A1, fetch all poll responses and write them to this workbook with a 'Type' column set to 'Poll' — then append all Q&A entries below with 'Type' set to 'Q&A' — include question, answer, and vote count or response text in columns B, C, and D.

You ran the same poll across three sessions and want to compare vote distributions

You ran an identical audience poll at the start of three different webinars and want to see how answers differed by session.

For each session ID in column A and the matching poll ID in column B, fetch vote counts for each answer option and write them into columns C through F — use the session name in column C as a row label so you can compare across sessions.

Full poll analysis plus Q&A tagging by theme in one shot

For session ID in A1, fetch all poll results and Q&A entries — write polls into the 'Polls' worksheet with question, answer, and vote count — write Q&A into the 'QA' worksheet with question and answer — then on a 'Summary' worksheet, list the top-voted answer from each poll and the five most-upvoted Q&A questions.

The analysis runs alongside the data pull — no second pass needed.
