The Scenario
Three weeks out from the conference, your print vendor asked for the final exhibitor directory — sorted by booth number, with company name, description, website, and category — so they can start layout. Your design team is waiting on the same file to build the digital program guide.
The data is all in ExpoFP. Getting it out is the problem.
The bad version:
- Open ExpoFP's exhibitor management view and scan for an export button — find it, click it, receive a CSV with columns in the wrong order and a category field that renders as an internal ID instead of the display name
- Open the CSV in Excel, spend 45 minutes reordering columns, writing a VLOOKUP to translate category IDs to names, and deleting the internal fields the vendor doesn't need
- Share the workbook, realize booth number column is text-formatted instead of numeric so the sort order is 1, 10, 100, 11, 12 — fix the column type, re-sort, re-share
The floor plan data is clean. The extraction process is what makes it messy.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Excel workbook. It reaches into your ExpoFP event, pulls every exhibitor record, and writes the data exactly where you tell it — column by column, in the order you need, without reformatting detours.
Pull every exhibitor from my ExpoFP event into Excel with name, booth, and contact details so I can sort and format a printed directory
What You Get
- A clean table in your workbook: company name (A), booth ID (B), description (C), website (D), category (E)
- Sorted by booth number numerically — no text-sort weirdness
- Row 1 left blank for your header row, ready to share with the vendor directly
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
You need exhibitors from two events merged into one workbook
List all exhibitors from ExpoFP events 32971 and 2655 and write them into my Excel workbook with an event ID column added, sorted by event ID then booth number
Some exhibitor descriptions are blank and you want a flag column
Pull all exhibitors from ExpoFP event 2655 into columns A through E in my workbook, then add a column F that says "Missing description" for any row where the description field is empty
The vendor needs only exhibitors in specific categories
List all exhibitors from ExpoFP event 2655 where category is "Technology" or "Healthcare" and write them into my Excel workbook with name, booth, website, and category
Get the directory, audit for gaps, and format for print in one go
Pull all exhibitors from ExpoFP event 2655 into my Excel workbook, flag any rows with a blank website or missing description, sort by category then booth ID, and add a "Print Ready" column that says yes only if both website and description are populated
One prompt, one pass — the directory and the quality check land together.
