The Scenario
You have a sheet of 40 customers with corrected email addresses. Column A has the old email, Column B has the new one. The corrections came in from a support batch — customers who changed their primary email and submitted a form to request the update.
Your support admin added them to the sheet on Tuesday. It's now Thursday. The customers have been getting subscription renewal emails to the wrong address and a few are starting to write in.
Updating 40 records in the Lemon Squeezy dashboard means 40 separate customer searches and 40 manual edits. That's not how your admin should be spending the afternoon.
The bad version:
- Open Lemon Squeezy, search for customer 1 by the old email in Column A
- Click the customer record, click edit, change the email to the value in Column B
- Save, navigate back to the customer list, search for customer 2
- Repeat 40 times
- Discover at row 28 that one of the old email addresses doesn't match any record — the customer may have used a different one originally — and now you have to flag that separately
Forty records. Forty manual searches. One afternoon that should have been spent on something else.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads the correction sheet and connects to Lemon Squeezy through its built-in integration to apply all 40 updates in one pass.
For each row in this sheet, find the Lemon Squeezy customer by email in Column A and update their email to the value in Column B — write updated or the error into Column C
What You Get
- Column C: "updated" for each successfully changed record
- Column C: the specific error message for rows where the customer wasn't found or the update failed
- All 40 rows processed in a single pass with no manual navigation
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
You're updating names and cities, not emails
Update every Lemon Squeezy customer ID in Column A with the new name from Column B and city from Column C — 40 rows total — and log outcomes in Column D
You want to verify existence before updating
For each row in this workbook, look up the Lemon Squeezy customer by email in Column A, confirm they exist, update their email to Column B, and write the customer ID into Column C and updated status into Column D
Some rows already have outcomes from a previous run
For each row where Column C is blank, find the Lemon Squeezy customer by email in Column A and update their email to Column B — write the result into Column C only for those rows
Full correction batch with summary in one shot
For each row in this workbook, find the Lemon Squeezy customer by email in Column A and update their email to Column B — write updated or error in Column C, and after all rows are processed write a count of successful updates into cell E1 and failures into cell E2
Forty corrections applied before lunch. Customers stop getting emails to the wrong address.
