Export All Active Lever Opportunities Into a Excel workbook

The Scenario

Your hiring committee meets every Thursday at 9 AM. By Wednesday afternoon your recruiter has already asked you three times for the updated pipeline export — same 12 columns, same filter on active opportunities, same request every single week.

The bad version:

  • Log into Lever, navigate to the opportunities view, apply the active filter, and wait for the list to load across all 450 records
  • Export a CSV, open it in Excel, and spend 20 minutes deleting the columns the committee doesn't need and renaming the ones they do
  • Paste the result into the weekly deck, discover that two columns are in the wrong order, fix it, and paste again

The committee meets in 18 hours. You have four other things that actually need your brain.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads what is in the workbook, understands the context, and through its Lever integration can pull your entire active pipeline directly into the right columns — no CSV, no column renaming, no reformatting.

Open your pipeline tracker workbook and type:

Pull all active Lever opportunities and write candidate name, email, current stage, posting title, and lead source into columns A through E — one row per opportunity, skip any opportunities with a null email

What You Get

  • Column A: candidate name
  • Column B: candidate email
  • Column C: current pipeline stage
  • Column D: posting title
  • Column E: lead source channel
  • Any opportunity with a missing email is skipped, not silently included as a blank row
  • Row count in the workbook matches the active count in Lever

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

The stage names in Lever don't match what the committee uses

Pull all active Lever opportunities into columns A through E as described, but replace any stage name that contains 'Phone' with 'Screen' and any stage that contains 'Onsite' with 'Panel Interview' before writing to Column C

Some opportunities have no posting title assigned yet

Pull all active Lever opportunities into columns A through E — for any row where posting title is null, write 'Unassigned' in Column D instead of leaving it blank

You need to join the pipeline export with a headcount worksheet

Pull all active Lever opportunities into the Pipeline worksheet, columns A through E. Then look up each posting title against Column A of the Headcount worksheet and write the approved headcount for that role into Column F — leave Column F blank if the posting has no match

You want stage counts and a filtered export in one shot

Pull all active Lever opportunities and write them into columns A through E. Then count how many opportunities are in each unique stage and write the summary — stage name and count — starting in column G row 1. Only include opportunities where Column C is 'Phone Screen', 'On-site', or 'Final Round'

Combining the export, the summary, and the filter into a single prompt saves you from running three separate steps and reconciling the results.
