Export All Open Nozbe Teams Tasks Into an Excel Workbook for Reporting

The Scenario

You are a project manager. It is Friday at 2 PM and the weekly status report is due at 4 PM.

You have three active Nozbe projects: Platform Rebuild, Customer Onboarding, and Q3 Ops. Your director wants every open task listed in a single Excel workbook, with task name, project, responsible user, and due date, so she can review the full picture before the weekend.

The bad version of this Friday:

  • You open Nozbe and navigate to Platform Rebuild
  • You scroll through the task list, copying rows by hand into the workbook
  • You switch to Customer Onboarding and repeat
  • You switch to Q3 Ops and repeat
  • You realize the due dates are in a different format across the three projects
  • You manually reformat them
  • It is 3:50 PM and you have not done the actual analysis yet.

The fast version is one prompt.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Excel workbook that can pull tasks from every Nozbe project and write them directly into the workbook, so you never have to navigate Nozbe's UI or merge three separate exports by hand.

Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:

Pull every incomplete task from the three Nozbe projects listed in column A of the Projects tab and add each task as a new row on the Report tab with task name, due date, and assigned member. Sort by project, then by due date ascending.

SheetXAI calls Nozbe's API, pulls every open task across all three projects, and populates the Report tab. One prompt, one consolidated view.

What You Get

A single tab with every open task across all your active projects:

  • Task name — from Nozbe, as written
  • Project name — from the project it belongs to
  • Assigned member — the responsible user in Nozbe
  • Due date — normalized to a consistent format

The sort is done for you. Tasks grouped by project, then ordered by due date, so the report is ready to share without a manual reorganization pass in Excel.

Want to filter to a specific project, or only tasks due this week, or only tasks assigned to one person? Adjust the prompt and SheetXAI applies the filter inline.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Real Nozbe projects often have inconsistencies. SheetXAI handles them in the same prompt.

When some tasks are missing due dates

Some tasks were created without a due date. They still need to appear in the report, but you want them flagged.

List all open tasks across every Nozbe project. For tasks with no due date, write "No date set" in the Due Date column. Sort tasks with a due date by due date ascending, then put no-date tasks at the bottom of the Report tab.

When you only want tasks from specific projects

Your director only cares about three of the seven active projects.

List all open tasks from the Platform Rebuild, Customer Onboarding, and Q3 Ops projects in Nozbe. Write task name, project name, responsible user, and due date into the Report tab. Sort by project, then by due date.

When you need a count summary at the top of the workbook

The report should open with a summary row per project showing how many open tasks remain.

List all open tasks across every Nozbe project and write task name, project name, responsible user, and due date into the Report tab starting at row 5. In rows 1 through 3, write a summary table showing each project name and its open task count.

When you need to add a "Days Overdue" column

Some tasks are past their due date. The director wants to see by how much.

List all open tasks across every Nozbe project. Write task name, project name, responsible user, and due date into the Report tab. In the next column, write the number of days each task is past its due date based on today's date. Leave that column blank for tasks that are not yet overdue.

The pattern: instead of pulling raw data and formatting it separately, you describe the shape of the final report and SheetXAI produces it directly.
