Push a Target Account List From an Excel Workbook Into PhantomBuster Storage

The Scenario

You are an ABM marketer. You have 200 target accounts in an Excel workbook, assembled from three weeks of ICP filtering. Each row has a company LinkedIn URL, industry tag, and employee range. You need to run a LinkedIn company follower Phantom against all of them next week.

Before the Phantom can act on them, every account needs to exist as a company object in PhantomBuster's org storage. Right now, none of them are in there.

The bad version of this Friday:

  • You find PhantomBuster's bulk company import template and download it
  • The template has different column names than your ABM Accounts tab
  • You create a staging tab, copy the data, rename the columns, export to CSV
  • You upload the CSV and get a success notification for 183 of 200
  • There is no indication in the PhantomBuster UI of which 17 failed or why
  • You try to find the gaps by scrolling through the company storage list manually
  • You go into the weekend with 17 accounts missing from PhantomBuster and no clear way to find out which ones.

The fast version is one prompt.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Excel workbook that pushes your account rows into PhantomBuster company storage in the batches the API expects, and writes the result back per row so the gaps are visible immediately.

Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:

Push all rows from the Excel table 'ABM Accounts' to PhantomBuster as company objects in batches of 20, then search PhantomBuster company objects to confirm all 200 were saved and write a count in cell H1.

SheetXAI processes all 200 rows in batches, saves each company object to PhantomBuster, and writes the confirmation count into cell H1 after verifying the result. No CSV export, no manual gap-hunting.

What You Get

200 company objects uploaded to PhantomBuster storage, confirmed with a count in cell H1:

  • Each row processed in batches of 20
  • Cell H1 shows the confirmed count after a verification query
  • Any batch that fails returns an error you can see in the workbook

The LinkedIn company follower Phantom can now be pointed at the full list. If the count in H1 is less than 200, SheetXAI can tell you which rows did not save.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

ABM workbooks from ICP filtering always have some rough edges. SheetXAI handles them before pushing to PhantomBuster.

When LinkedIn URLs are missing the proper format

Some rows have "linkedin.com/company/acme-corp" instead of "https://www.linkedin.com/company/acme-corp".

Before saving to PhantomBuster, normalize all LinkedIn URLs in the ABM Accounts tab to start with "https://www.linkedin.com/company/". Then save each company in batches of 20 and write the company ID into column E.

When employee count is a text range instead of a number

Your ICP filter exported ranges like "51-200" as text strings but PhantomBuster expects a number.

Before saving to PhantomBuster, convert employee count ranges in the ABM Accounts tab to midpoint numbers: "1-10" becomes 5, "11-50" becomes 30, "51-200" becomes 125, "201-500" becomes 350. Then save all rows as company objects in batches of 20 and write the company ID into column E.

When some accounts might already be in PhantomBuster

You want to avoid creating duplicates before the Phantom runs.

For each company in the ABM Accounts tab, first search PhantomBuster for a company with the matching LinkedIn URL. If found, write EXISTS in column E. If not found, save the company and write the new company ID in column E. Process in batches of 20.

When you need to push, verify, and confirm all 200 before Monday 8 AM

The growth team is hitting launch at 8 AM Monday. Everything needs to be in PhantomBuster before then.

Save all rows from the ABM Accounts tab to PhantomBuster as company objects in batches of 20, using companyName, linkedinUrl, industry, and employeeCount columns. Write the returned company ID into column E. After processing, search PhantomBuster company objects to count how many now exist and write "Confirmed in storage: X" into cell G1. Flag any rows with no company ID in column F as FAILED.

The pattern: push all 200, verify the count, flag the failures. Monday 8 AM launch is safe.
