Enrich an Excel workbook With Simplero Contact Data

The Scenario

Your sales assistant handed you a workbook of 200 prospect emails pulled from a LinkedIn outreach campaign. The question on everyone's mind going into the strategy call this afternoon: which of these people are already in Simplero, and what do we know about them?

If you had their current tags and list subscriptions in the workbook before the call, you could score the list — warm leads to the front, cold ones to the nurture queue.

But right now all you have is column A and a meeting in three hours.

The bad version:

  • Open Simplero, search the first email, note the tags and lists, type them into column B and C of the workbook.
  • Repeat 199 more times.
  • Spend the first half of the strategy call explaining why you only got through 40 rows.

Nobody hired you to do contact lookups by hand.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads column A and calls Simplero for each email, pulling back profile data and writing it into the columns you specify.

Check all 200 emails in my Excel sheet against Simplero and write "found" or "not found" in column D, then populate first name and last name for those that exist

What You Get

  • Column D shows "found" or "not found" for every row.
  • First name and last name fill in from Simplero for contacts that exist.
  • The gap between found and not-found is visible rather than ambiguous.
  • You have a scored, enriched workbook ready before the strategy call.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Some emails have inconsistent casing or spaces

Look up each email in column A in Simplero — normalize the email before the lookup — write first name to B, last name to C, and "found"/"not found" to D

You want tags and list subscriptions too

For each email in column A, look it up in Simplero — write first name to B, last name to C, tags to D, and list subscriptions to E — mark "not found" in column F if missing

Only enrich rows where column E says "outbound"

For rows where column E is "outbound," look up the email in column A in Simplero — write tags to column F and subscription status to column G — skip all other rows

Full enrichment plus lead scoring

Normalize column A, look up each email in Simplero, write first name to B, last name to C, tags to D, list subscriptions to E — then in column F write "warm" if tags include "webinar-attendee" or "trial" and "cold" otherwise

One prompt builds a prioritized lead list before the call.
