Build a Support Agent CSAT Leaderboard From Simplesat in a Excel

The Scenario

You're the support ops analyst. Every month your team lead asks for the agent leaderboard — average CSAT score, total responses, and percentage of five-star ratings, sorted by average. It goes into the team Notion page and gets discussed in the monthly retro.

The person who used to build this left three months ago. They had an Excel workbook with formulas referencing a data sheet, which referenced a manual export they ran every month. You inherited the workbook. The export they used to paste in is from October.

The bad version:

  • Export last month's CSAT responses from Simplesat as a CSV
  • Paste 400-odd rows into the data sheet, being careful not to accidentally shift the formula references in the summary worksheet
  • Realize the agent column in the export uses display names but the formula pivots by login name, and those don't match for three agents

You weren't hired to maintain a fragile workbook inheritance. The analysis can't start until the data is in the right place in the right shape.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads the workbook, connects to Simplesat, pulls the response data, and builds the summary table — all in one pass.

Open the leaderboard workbook and paste this into the SheetXAI sidebar:

Search Simplesat for all responses from last month and write team member name, score, and response date to columns A, B, and C, then build a summary table below row 500 showing average score and response count grouped by team member name sorted by average score descending

What You Get

  • Rows 2 through N: raw response data, one row per response
  • Below row 500: a summary pivot with one row per agent
  • Columns in the summary: agent name, average CSAT score (two decimal places), total response count
  • Sorted by average score descending

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You also want percentage of five-star responses in the leaderboard

After building the response data in columns A through C and the agent summary below row 500, add a fourth column to the summary showing the percentage of responses where score equals 5, formatted as a percentage

Three agents have aliases in Simplesat that differ from their internal names

Import last month's Simplesat CSAT responses into columns A through C, then build the agent summary below row 500 — before writing the summary, map these display names: "J. Kim" becomes "Jamie Kim", "M. Osei" becomes "Marcus Osei", "T. Reyes" becomes "Tomas Reyes"

The lead wants this month's leaderboard next to last month's for comparison

Pull this month's Simplesat responses into columns A through C and build the current leaderboard in columns E through H, then pull last month's responses into columns I through K and build the prior-month summary in columns M through P

Full monthly report in one pass

Pull last month's Simplesat CSAT responses into columns A through C, build the agent leaderboard below row 500 with average score, response count, and five-star percentage, then add a section below the leaderboard with the three lowest-scoring responses including customer name and verbatim comment

Import, aggregate, and flag the problem cases in one prompt.
