Search Zoho Bigin Contacts by Company Name From a Excel workbook

The Scenario

You are a customer success manager. Marketing handed you an Excel workbook of 40 company names — accounts they want you to reach out to for an upsell campaign. No contact details, just company names. Every contact you need is already in Bigin. Someone just did not bother to look them up before sending the workbook.

This is the third time this month you have been handed a list with no contact data attached.

The bad version:

  • Open Bigin, type the first company name into the search bar, find the contact, copy the email and phone, paste them into the workbook.
  • Do that 39 more times.
  • Discover that six of the company names in the workbook are spelled differently than they are in Bigin — "Acme Corp" in the table, "ACME Corporation" in Bigin — and spend extra time figuring out which contact belongs to which row.

Forty lookups by hand is a 45-minute task you did not budget for today.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Excel workbook. It reads the company names in your table and searches Bigin Contacts for each one, writing the matched contact details back into the workbook directly.

Search Bigin pipeline records where deal name contains any of the keywords in column A and write the matching deal ID, stage, and amount into columns B through D

What You Get

  • Columns B, C, and D filled in for every row where a match was found in Bigin.
  • NOT FOUND in column B for any company name that returned no Bigin Contact result — making the gaps visible without you having to check each one.
  • If multiple contacts exist under the same company, the first match is returned — you can request all matches if needed.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Company names in the workbook have spelling variations from Bigin

For each company name in column A, search Bigin Contacts with a fuzzy match — accept results where the company name in Bigin is at least 80% similar to the value in column A. Write matched full name, email, and phone into columns B, C, D. Write NOT FOUND or AMBIGUOUS (if multiple close matches) in column B where appropriate.

You want all contacts under a company, not just the first one

For each company name in column A, search Bigin Contacts and return all matching contacts. Write each contact on its own row below the company name, with full name in column B, email in column C, phone in column D, and repeat the company name in column A.

You also want to know the pipeline deal status for each matched contact

For each company name in column A, search Bigin Contacts for the primary contact — write full name, email, phone into columns B, C, D. Then look up whether that contact has any open pipeline deals in Bigin and write the most recent deal name and stage into columns E and F.

Full search with contact enrichment in one shot

For each company in column A, search Bigin Contacts. Write full name, email, phone into columns B through D. If the contact has an open pipeline deal, write deal name and stage into columns E and F. If not found, write NOT FOUND in column B. Handle fuzzy company-name matches.

One prompt replaces 40 manual Bigin searches and delivers the enriched workbook ready for outreach.
