Map the Technology Stack for a Domain List in a Google Sheet

The Scenario

Your sales team has been pitching your commerce integration to anyone with a pulse. The RevOps manager pulled a report showing that 40% of the accounts you're targeting don't use Shopify at all — they're on Magento or custom builds where the integration won't apply. She wants the prospect list filtered to Shopify users only before the next SDR sprint starts Monday morning.

The bad version:

  • BuiltWith has a web lookup — you start pasting domains in one at a time, tabbing back to the sheet, and noting "Shopify" or "not Shopify" in a scratch column.
  • Around row sixty you realize you've been looking at cached data for some of these and the tool's results aren't current.
  • You download the free BuiltWith CSV, which covers 100 domains, and now you need to figure out how to reconcile it with the 500 in your sheet.

The SDR sprint kicks off Monday. You have 500 domains to process and it is currently Saturday afternoon. This is supposed to be analysis work, but right now it's data retrieval with extra steps.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It reads the prospect domains, calls Klazify's tech-stack endpoint for each, and writes the detected technologies into the columns you specify — filtered, labeled, and ready for the SDR team without any manual lookup.

For each domain in column A of the "Prospects" sheet, fetch the technology stack from Klazify and write all detected technologies as a comma-separated list in column B

What You Get

  • Column B: a comma-separated list of detected technologies — "Shopify, Google Analytics, Klaviyo" or "WordPress, WooCommerce, Hotjar."
  • Where Klazify identifies categories like CMS, analytics platform, ad network, or ecommerce platform, those are labeled within the list.
  • Domains with no tech stack detected get a blank, not an error.
  • You can filter column B for "Shopify" in one step once the run is complete.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You want separate columns for CMS, analytics platform, and ecommerce platform — not one combined list

For each domain in column A of the "Prospects" sheet, call Klazify's tech stack endpoint and write the detected CMS into column B, analytics platform into column C, and ecommerce platform into column D

You want to flag Shopify users immediately and sort them to the top

For each domain in column A of the "Prospects" sheet, call Klazify, write the detected ecommerce platform into column B — then add "PRIORITY" in column C for any row where column B contains "Shopify" and sort by column C descending

Some prospects are already in a "Qualified" tab and you only want to process the new rows

For all rows in the "New Prospects" sheet where column B is blank, call Klazify on the domain in column A and write the full technology stack as a comma-separated list into column B

The sales director also wants ad network detection — they're targeting companies actively spending on paid

For each domain in column A of the "Prospects" sheet, call Klazify and write CMS into column B, ecommerce platform into column C, analytics tool into column D, and detected ad network into column E — then add "AD SPEND DETECTED" in column F for any row where column E is not blank

Ecommerce, analytics, and ad-spend signal in a single prompt. The SDR team has everything they need to prioritize Monday's outreach.
