The Scenario
Black Friday is five weeks away. Your marketing manager sent a message this morning: "Which discount codes are still active and which ones should we kill before the BFCM campaign goes live?"
You have 25 discount codes in Lemon Squeezy. Some were created for specific partner campaigns. Some expired. Some are evergreen. You need code name, discount amount, and total redemption count in a spreadsheet so you can make a decision about which codes to extend, which to retire, and which to use as the basis for the BFCM offer.
Lemon Squeezy shows you discounts in a list. Redemption counts are visible per code in the detail view. There is no export that gives you both in one file.
The bad version:
- Open the Discounts view, click the first code, note the code name, amount, and redemption count
- Open your sheet, paste the row, go back to Lemon Squeezy
- Repeat for all 25 codes
- Realize you also need the expiry dates, go back through all 25 again
Twenty-five codes. Two passes. Fifty manual lookups before you can make a single decision.
