The Scenario
The burger restaurant opens at 11 AM. It's 9:30. The owner has a Google Sheet with 10 modifier groups — Toppings, Sauces, Cooking Temp, Extras, and six others — each with up to six options and individual prices. None of them exist in Loyverse yet.
Without modifiers, the kitchen gets no customization instructions on the tickets. Every order that needs a note becomes a verbal clarification.
The bad version:
- Open Loyverse's modifier group creator. Add a group name. Then add each option: name and price. Save. Repeat.
- 10 groups, average 4 options each is 40 individual option entries plus 10 group name entries.
- One of the groups (Cooking Temp) has no prices — options are free. The form still needs each one entered individually.
