The Scenario
Someone in leadership asked for a prospect list, and they asked for it in a Slack message you received at 8:47 AM.
You're the business development manager. The sales director wants everyone tagged "prospect" in Magnetic handed off to the sales team by end of morning — name, email, phone, and company, in a sheet, ready to work from. You have 15 client companies in Magnetic, and prospects are scattered across all of them.
There is no clean export for this. Magnetic doesn't let you filter contacts by tag across all companies in a single download. The only way to do it manually is to open each company's contact list, find anyone tagged "prospect," copy their details, and paste into the sheet. Fifteen companies. Probably 80+ contacts to review.
The bad version:
- Open the first client company in Magnetic, go to contacts, scan for anyone tagged "prospect," copy the four fields, paste into the sheet
- Do this for 14 more companies, one by one, keeping track of where you are
- Finish and realize you missed one company because its contact tab was empty and you assumed that meant no prospects

You need the contacts sorted by company for the sales team's territory split
