Export the MOCO Cashflow Report Into a Google Sheet for Financial Analysis

5 min read

The Scenario

It is the first week of July. The CFO needs a cashflow export from MOCO for the first half of the year — every transaction, transaction type, company, amount, and date — for the bank reconciliation. The company's accountant is waiting for the file.

The CFO does not use MOCO daily. She has the credentials but navigating to the right report, setting the date range correctly, exporting in the right format, and then getting the columns into the layout the accountant expects is not a ten-minute task for someone who does this twice a year.

The bad version:

  • Log into MOCO, find the cashflow report, set the date range to January 1 through June 30, export as CSV.
  • Open the CSV in Sheets — find that the columns are in a different order than the accountant's template.
  • Rearrange columns, convert the date format, remove the summary rows that the export adds by default, and pass it on.

The file ends up correct. The process is longer and more manual than it should be for what is essentially a data dump.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It reads the sheet and uses its built-in MOCO integration to pull the cashflow report directly, in the layout you specify.

Pull the MOCO cashflow report for January to June 2026 and write transaction date, type, company name, and amount into my Cashflow tab

What You Get

  • One row per MOCO cashflow transaction for the period.
  • Columns: transaction date (ISO format), transaction type, company name, and amount.
  • No summary rows, no formatting artifacts from the CSV export — raw transaction data, one row per entry.
  • The Cashflow tab reflects the live state of MOCO at the time of the pull.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

I need a VAT or tax column alongside the amount

Pull the MOCO cashflow report for January to June 2026 and write transaction date, type, company name, net amount, tax amount, and gross amount into my Cashflow tab

I need to split it by transaction type into separate sections

Pull the MOCO cashflow for H1 2026 and write it to my Cashflow tab. Group rows by transaction type and add a subtotal row per group. Sort groups alphabetically.

I need to reconcile it against a bank statement already in the sheet

Pull the MOCO cashflow for 2026-01-01 to 2026-06-30 into columns A through D of my Cashflow tab. Then match each MOCO transaction against rows in my Bank Statement tab (matched on date and amount). Write a Matched column showing Yes or No for each MOCO transaction.

Pull the full H1 cashflow, reconcile against the bank statement, flag unmatched items, and total by category in one shot

Pull MOCO cashflow for January through June 2026. Match each entry against my Bank Statement tab by date and amount. Flag unmatched entries. Add a Category column from the transaction type. Show a subtotal per category. Write everything to the Cashflow tab.

The accountant has the file before the end of day. The CFO spent two minutes on a prompt.
