The Scenario
Summer planning starts in April. The HR manager needs vacation days used, remaining vacation days, and sick days for all 20 employees before she can finalize the holiday schedule and approve pending leave requests.
She sent a message to each team lead asking them to check in MOCO and report back. The response rate was about 60% after three days. The rest are on client calls or traveling.
The bad version:
- Log into MOCO, navigate to the Absence section, find each employee's record individually, note their vacation and sick day counts, enter them into the Google Sheet one row at a time.
- Realize that MOCO shows remaining days based on the contract calendar, not the calendar year — decide which number is the right one to put in the planning sheet and go back to adjust six rows.
- Sort the final sheet manually by department because that's how the HR director wants to see it.
Twenty employees. Individually looked up. Manually transcribed. For a spreadsheet that could be generated in seconds.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It reads the sheet and uses its built-in MOCO integration to pull the absence report for all employees in one operation.
Pull the MOCO absence report for 2026 and write each employee's name, vacation days used, remaining vacation days, and sick days into my Leave Planning tab
What You Get
