The Scenario
You're a digital asset manager at a multi-brand retailer. The company runs four Modelry workspaces — one per brand. Quarterly, your team has to reconcile the DAM against what actually exists in Modelry: which products have 3D models, which workspace they live in, and whether anything has been duplicated across brands.
The previous analyst handled this by logging into each workspace separately, exporting what she could, and stitching four spreadsheets together in Excel. She left. The process left with her — or rather, you're now reconstructing it from scratch.
The bad version:
- Log into Modelry, switch to workspace 1, export the product list, save the file, repeat for workspaces 2, 3, and 4
- Open four separate exports, notice they each have different column orders because someone customized the workspace views at some point
- Spend an afternoon aligning the columns, deduplicating rows that appear in multiple workspaces, and building a master sheet by hand
