The Scenario
You are an IT admin. Twenty new contractors start next Monday. Before task assignments can begin, each one needs a placeholder user account in Nozbe Teams.
Your onboarding roster is in a Google Sheet: column A is Name. 20 rows.
The slow version:
- You open Nozbe's admin panel
- You navigate to the user management section
- You create User 1, type the name, save
- You create User 2, type the name, save
- You do this 20 times
- Two days later you discover you misspelled three names because you were going fast
- You have to go back and fix them individually.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

When names have inconsistent formatting
Some rows say "TORRES, ALEX," some say "alex torres," some say "Alex Torres."
Normalize all names in column A to title case and format as "First Last" before creating Nozbe placeholder users. Write the returned user ID into column B.
When you need to create users and immediately assign them to projects
The contractors each belong to a specific project, listed in column B.
Create a Nozbe placeholder user for every row in column A. Then add each user to the Nozbe project ID in column B with member-level access. Write the returned user ID into column C.
When some contractors already have Nozbe accounts
A few contractors worked with you before and already have user records. You want to skip those rows and only create accounts for the genuinely new ones.
For each name in column A, check whether a Nozbe user with that name already exists. If they do, write "Exists — [user ID]" in column B. If they do not, create a placeholder user and write the new user ID in column B.
When you need to create users and then bulk-create onboarding tasks assigned to each one
Your onboarding task template is in columns C through F. Each contractor gets the same five tasks, assigned to them.
Create a Nozbe placeholder user for every row in column A. Then, for each new user, create the onboarding tasks listed in columns C through F of the same row, assigning each task to the newly created user. Write the user ID into column B.
