Run Multi-Country Google Searches From a Google Sheet via Piloterr

The Scenario

An international SEO manager at a B2B SaaS company is building a cross-market keyword analysis. The company targets France, Germany, and Spain, and they want to know whether the same 10 high-value keywords rank different content in each country — or whether a single page dominates across markets. The data lives nowhere. Someone has to go get it.

The analyst opened a Google Sheet, put the 10 keywords in column A, and labeled columns B, C, and D with "FR," "DE," and "ES." Then they opened a browser, switched Google to a French interface, searched keyword 1, copied the top URL into B2, switched the interface to German, searched keyword 1 again, and so on. By keyword 3 they'd already mixed up which column was DE and which was ES, and the whole thing took 40 minutes for three keywords.

The bad version:

  • Change Google's country setting, search keyword 1, copy the top URL, paste it into the correct column for that locale
  • Repeat for each of the three locales, then advance to the next keyword — tracking carefully which locale you're on and which column maps to it
  • Notice after keyword 5 that your browser had cached a previous locale setting and two of the URLs are actually from the wrong country index

Thirty search results to track across three locales and ten keywords, with locale state leaking between searches.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It reads your keyword list and your locale structure, and through its built-in Piloterr integration it can run localized Google searches for each keyword-country combination and write the top URL for each into the correct column — without you managing locale state at all.

For each keyword in column A (10 rows), run three Piloterr Google searches — one for France (FR), one for Germany (DE), one for Spain (ES) — and write the top URL for each country into columns B, C, and D

What You Get

  • Column B: top organic Google result URL for France for each keyword
  • Column C: top organic Google result URL for Germany for each keyword
  • Column D: top organic Google result URL for Spain for each keyword
  • Rows where the same URL appears in all three columns get flagged in column E — useful for spotting where a single piece of content dominates across markets

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You also want the page titles, not just the URLs

For each keyword in column A (10 rows), run Piloterr Google searches for FR, DE, and ES — write the top organic URL into columns B, D, and F respectively, and the corresponding page title into columns C, E, and G

Some keywords are English-language and may not return meaningful results in localized indexes — you want those flagged

For each keyword in column A, run Piloterr Google searches for FR, DE, and ES — for any locale where the top result URL is from an English-only domain (e.g., .com with no locale signal), flag it with "EN result" in the adjacent column instead of just writing the URL

You want to add a US baseline column so you can compare international results against the English index

For each keyword in column A (10 rows), run Piloterr Google searches for US (EN-US), FR, DE, and ES — write the top URL for each into columns B, C, D, and E respectively

You need the full multi-locale table, same-URL flags, and a domain-frequency summary in one pass

Read column A (10 keywords), run Piloterr Google searches for FR, DE, and ES for each, write the top URL per locale into columns B, C, D — flag rows where all three URLs share the same domain in column E, then add a summary at the bottom showing which domains appear most frequently across all 30 results

The international ranking table lands complete, with cross-market signals built in.
