Pull All Ramp Vendors Into a Google Sheet With Spend Totals and Activity Flags

The Scenario

The CFO has a board deck to prepare and wants a vendor spend slide. She sends you a message: pull every vendor from Ramp, show total spend, category, and flag anything that has not had activity in the past 90 days. She needs it in a Google Sheet by end of morning.

You go into Ramp's vendor view and immediately realize this is not something you can export in one click. The vendor list is there. Total spend per vendor is not in the same export. Last activity date is buried in the individual vendor detail view. You have 180 vendors.

The bad version:

  • Export the vendor list from Ramp, open it in Sheets, note that total spend and last activity are not included.
  • Go through the Ramp vendor detail view for each vendor, copy the spend total and last activity date.
  • After an hour on twenty vendors, abandon the manual approach and ask your developer to write a script.

The board deck is due today. Your developer is in standups until noon.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Google Sheet. It connects to Ramp through its built-in integration, pulls the full vendor dataset including spend totals, and calculates activity flags inline.

List all vendors in Ramp and import vendor name, category, total spend, and last activity date into this sheet, then add a column marking vendors with no activity in 90 days as Inactive

What You Get

  • Every Ramp vendor lands in the sheet with name, category, and total spend in labeled columns.
  • The last activity date is included per row.
  • The Inactive column is populated for any vendor with no activity in the past 90 days, and left blank for active ones.
  • The sheet is ready to paste into a slide or hand to the CFO as-is.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You want to sort by total spend descending

Fetch all Ramp vendors, import vendor name, category, total spend, and last activity date, mark vendors with no activity in 90 days as Inactive, and sort by total spend descending

You want to highlight top 20 spenders separately

List all Ramp vendors sorted by total spend descending, import vendor name, category, total spend, and last activity date, and add a Top 20 label in column E for the highest-spending vendors

Category data is missing for some vendors

Fetch all Ramp vendors, import name, category, total spend, and last activity date, mark vendors with no activity in 90 days as Inactive, and for any row where category is blank write Uncategorized in the category column

Kill chain: sort, flag inactive, label top spenders, and surface blanks in one shot

List all Ramp vendors, import vendor name, category, total spend, and last activity date, sort by total spend descending, label the top 20 as Top Spender in column F, mark vendors with no activity in 90 days as Inactive in column G, and write Uncategorized in any blank category cell

That is the full board-ready vendor report in one prompt.
