The Scenario
A Korea market entry consultant is two weeks into an engagement with a consumer electronics brand. The brand wants to understand its local search visibility before deciding whether to invest in Naver SEO or shift budget toward paid search. The consultant has 60 Korean-language search queries in column A. The strategy memo is due in six days.
The bad version:
- Open Naver in a browser with a Korean locale setting, paste query 1, read the top 5 organic results, copy the Korean-language titles and URLs into columns B through F
- Search query 2, noticing that some results are from Naver's own properties (Naver Blog, Naver Knowledge iN) while others are external sites, and you are not sure whether to count them the same way
- Work through 15 queries before the day ends, 45 remaining, with no consistent methodology for how you handled the mixed Naver-internal vs. external result types
A search visibility baseline that does not distinguish between Naver-owned properties and external rankings is not measuring the same thing in each row.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It reads the query list in column A, calls SerpApi's Naver endpoint for each one with consistent locale parameters, and writes the organic results back — all 60 rows, with the same methodology for every row. One prompt.
For each keyword in column A, search Naver via SerpApi and fill in the top 5 organic result titles and URLs into columns B through K
What You Get
- Columns B, D, F, H, J receive the result titles for organic positions 1 through 5
- Columns C, E, G, I, K receive the corresponding URLs
- Queries with fewer than 5 organic results leave the later columns blank
- Queries returning no results get a note in column L rather than a blank row
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
Queries in column A are in English and need to be in Korean
For each query in column A, translate the term to Korean before searching Naver via SerpApi, write the translated term in column B, and write the top 5 result titles and URLs into columns C through L
You want to separate Naver-internal results from external sites
For each query in column A, search Naver via SerpApi, write the top 5 result URLs into columns B through F, and flag in column G any URL that contains "naver.com" as a Naver-internal result vs. external
You want snippet text as well as title and URL
For each query in column A, search Naver via SerpApi and write the top result title, URL, and snippet into columns B, C, and D
Full visibility baseline with brand mention detection in one prompt
Search Naver via SerpApi for each query in column A and write the top 5 result titles and URLs into columns B through K; flag in column L any row where our brand name (from cell A1) appears in any of the top 5 result titles, and flag in column M any row where our domain appears in any of the top 5 URLs
Brand visibility and ranking coverage in one pass.
