Export Shopify Inventory Levels Across All Locations to a Google Sheet

The Scenario

Monday morning buying meeting. Your buyer wants to know current stock across all three warehouse locations before committing to the next purchase order. You have a buying decision spreadsheet in Google Sheets. What you don't have is the actual inventory numbers — those are in Shopify, spread across three locations, and the last time someone pulled them it took the ops coordinator two hours to compile.

The ops coordinator is in a different meeting.

The bad version:

  • Open Shopify's inventory management screen, select the first location, filter by product type, note the quantities.
  • Switch to location 2, repeat. Switch to location 3, repeat.
  • Export each location's data separately, paste them into the Google Sheet, add a SUMIF to calculate total stock per SKU across locations.

The buying meeting starts at 10. It's 9:20. The SUMIF is not going to write itself.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It pulls inventory levels across all locations from Shopify and writes them directly into the sheet with a summary column, in one operation.

Fetch Shopify inventory levels for all locations and write variant ID, product title, variant title, location name, and available quantity into my Inventory Snapshot Google Sheet

What You Get

  • One row per variant per location, with product title, variant title, location name, and quantity in labeled columns.
  • A complete picture of current stock across all three warehouses without a screen-by-screen pull.
  • Add a SUMIF in your buying worksheet or ask SheetXAI to add a total-stock column for you.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You need a per-SKU total across locations, not one row per location

Fetch Shopify inventory levels for all locations and write variant ID, product title, SKU, and total available quantity (summed across all locations) into my Inventory Snapshot sheet — one row per variant

You only need inventory for products in a specific collection

Fetch Shopify inventory levels for all locations, filter to products in the collection with handle 'outerwear', and write product title, variant title, location name, and available quantity into my Inventory Snapshot sheet

Zero-stock rows should be excluded from the buying report

Fetch Shopify inventory levels for all locations and write variant ID, product title, variant title, location name, and available quantity into my Inventory Snapshot sheet — only include rows where available quantity is greater than 0

Full buying snapshot: per-SKU totals, zero-stock flag, and reorder recommendation column

Fetch all Shopify inventory levels across all locations — write variant ID, product title, SKU, and per-location quantities in separate columns, plus a total column summed across all locations — add a reorder flag in a final column that says 'reorder' if total is below 10 — write into my Inventory Snapshot sheet

Running the reorder flag logic alongside the pull means the buyer sees immediately which SKUs need action, without a second formula pass.
