Export the Simplero Product Catalog to a Google Sheet

The Scenario

A business consultant. A new coaching client. A strategy session booked for Friday.

The client asked you to come prepared with a pricing review — what they're currently selling, at what price, and how it stacks up against three competitors you've both agreed to look at. You need to pull their Simplero product catalog into a sheet so you can build the comparison table before Friday morning.

The Simplero UI lets you browse products one by one. There's no native "export everything" button. So the default is to open each product, write down the name, price, and ID, move to the next.

The bad version:

  • Navigate to the product list in Simplero, click the first product, note the name and price in the sheet.
  • Click back, click the next product, repeat.
  • Realize around product 15 that you haven't been capturing the product ID — and you'll need it for the second half of the session when you discuss SKU mapping.
  • Start over from product 1, this time with three columns.

Friday is three days away and you have three other client deliverables in the queue.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It calls the Simplero products endpoint and writes the full catalog into the sheet in one pass.

List all Simplero products and write their name, price, and product ID into this sheet starting at row 1 with column headers

What You Get

  • Product name, price, and product ID land in columns A, B, and C starting at row 1 with headers.
  • Every product in the Simplero account appears — no pagination, no manual clicking.
  • The comparison table can start being built as soon as the prompt finishes.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You need additional fields — specifically product description and status (active vs. archived)

List all Simplero products and write name, price, product ID, description, and status to columns A through E with headers starting at row 1

You only want active products — exclude archived ones

List all active Simplero products and write name, price, and product ID to columns A, B, and C with headers — exclude any archived or inactive products

You want the data sorted by price descending for the comparison table

List all Simplero products sorted by price descending — write name, price, and product ID to columns A, B, and C with headers

The full setup for the pricing strategy session

List all active Simplero products sorted by price descending — write name to column A, price to column B, product ID to column C, and description to column D with headers — then in column E calculate what price would represent a 20% increase from column B

One prompt pulls the catalog and starts the analysis.
