The Scenario
You are a portrait studio owner. Season pricing review is every October. You have 85 products in your Tave catalog — portrait packages, print sizes, albums, digital collections, and add-ons — and you want all of them in a Google Sheet so you can compare prices, identify what has not been touched in two years, and update rates in bulk before you re-export.
The Tave product catalog has no bulk export. You can see each product one at a time in the interface.
The bad version:
- You open Tave's product list, click the first product, copy the name, type, price, and SKU into your sheet
- You go back, click the next product, repeat
- After twenty products you realize you forgot to capture the visibility field
- You go back through twenty rows and add it
- Eighty-five products, four fields each, plus two correction passes. You hate pricing season.
The fast version is one prompt.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your spreadsheet that reads directly from Tave's product API and writes the catalog into your sheet.
Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:
List all products in my Tave studio and write each to this sheet — include product name, product type, price, SKU, and visibility. Put headers in row 1 and data starting in row 2.
SheetXAI calls Tave, pulls all 85 products, and writes them into the sheet. You have your full catalog in one place, ready for the pricing review.
What You Get
A complete Tave product catalog in your sheet:
- Product name — exactly as it appears in Tave
- Product type — package, print, album, digital, or add-on
- Price — the current rate from Tave
- SKU — the product identifier
- Visibility — whether the product is active, archived, or hidden
Add a sort on the price column and you immediately see your pricing tier distribution. Add a filter on visibility and you know which products are active versus archived.
After updating prices in the sheet, ask SheetXAI to push the new values back into Tave — no re-entry required.
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
A product catalog built over three years has accumulated inconsistencies. SheetXAI handles cleanup and the export in the same prompt.
When you want to group by product type
Packages separate from prints separate from albums.
List all products in my Tave studio grouped by product type. For each type, add a header row with the type name and the count of products. Then list individual products under each header with name, price, SKU, and visibility.
When you only want active products
Archived products from two seasons ago are noise during a pricing review.
List all active products in my Tave studio — exclude archived and hidden items. Write each to this sheet with product name, product type, price, SKU. Sort by product type, then by price ascending within each type.
When you want to flag products that have not been updated recently
You want to know which products have the same price they have always had.
List all products in my Tave studio and write them to this sheet with name, type, price, SKU, and visibility. In column F, add a note for any product whose price ends in .00 and whose price is below $100 — these are likely legacy placeholder prices that need review.
When you want to update prices in bulk after the review
After your pricing review in the sheet, you want to push the new prices back to Tave without re-entering them.
For each row in this sheet where column F has "UPDATE" and column G has a new price, update the corresponding Tave product by SKU (column D) — set the price to the value in column G. Write the result status into column H.
The pattern: get the data out, make your decisions in the sheet, then push the changes back in one prompt.
