The Scenario
You are a brand manager. The rebrand shipped last month. The new colors are #1A73E8 (primary) and #FFFFFF (background), the font is Roboto, and the logo has been updated everywhere, almost everywhere.
There are twenty Typeform forms spread across three workspaces. None of them have the new branding. A customer flagged it in a support ticket this week.
You have a Google Sheet with all twenty form IDs in column A.
The slow version:
- You open Typeform's Themes panel and create the new theme manually
- You copy the theme ID
- You open each form one by one, navigate to Design, select the new theme, save
- Twenty forms, two minutes each, and you lose your place twice when Typeform's UI refreshes
- One form does not save because it has a legacy design setting that overrides the theme
- You find out from another customer ticket a week later.
The fast version is one prompt.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your spreadsheet that creates the theme and patches it onto every form in your list, so you do not have to touch the Typeform UI once.
Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:
Create a Typeform theme with primary color #1A73E8, background color #FFFFFF, and font Roboto. Name it "Brand 2026." Then apply that theme to all form IDs listed in column A of this sheet. Write "Updated" or "Failed" into column B for each row.
SheetXAI creates the theme, retrieves the new theme ID, and patches every form in column A. Column B fills with statuses so you know immediately if any form failed.
What You Get
A consistent, rebrand-complete form inventory:
- New Typeform theme created — named and retrievable by ID for future use
- Theme applied to all twenty forms — column B shows "Updated" per row
- Failures flagged immediately — any form that could not be patched shows "Failed" in column B, not a silent skip
You have a written record of which forms were updated. That is the sheet you send to your manager as the rebrand audit trail.
If you want to verify the applied theme on any form, SheetXAI can pull the form's current theme setting and write it into column C.
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
Branding operations at scale hit edge cases. SheetXAI handles them without a separate debugging session.
When some form IDs in the sheet are invalid or belong to another account
A few rows have stale IDs from forms that were deleted or transferred. The patch call will fail with an authorization or not-found error.
Apply theme ID th_brand2026 to all form IDs in column A. Write "Updated," "Not found," or "Failed — [error]" into column B for each row. Do not stop the batch if one form fails.
When you want to apply different themes to different workspaces
The Marketing workspace gets the full brand theme. The Support workspace uses a simpler monochrome version. Column B has the workspace name for each form.
Apply the "Brand 2026" theme to all forms in column A where column B says "Marketing." Apply the "Support Minimal" theme to all forms where column B says "Support." Write the theme applied and status into columns C and D.
When you want to preview which theme each form currently uses before updating
You need a before/after record for the rebranding audit.
For each form ID in column A, fetch the current theme name and write it into column B. Then apply the "Brand 2026" theme to all forms and write the new theme name into column C and the status into column D.
When the theme does not exist yet and you need it created from a spec sheet
Your brand spec lives in the sheet itself: row 2 has primary color, row 3 has background, row 4 has font, row 5 has the theme name.
Read the brand spec from rows 2 through 5 of this sheet. Create a Typeform theme using those values. Then apply the new theme to all form IDs listed in column A starting in row 8. Write the theme ID used into cell B1 and status into column B starting in row 8.
The pattern: the sheet is both the input and the audit log. You describe the operation once, SheetXAI runs it across all rows and writes the evidence back.
Try It
Get the 7-day free trial of SheetXAI and open a sheet with your Typeform form IDs, then ask it to create a theme and apply it across every form. The Typeform integration is included in every SheetXAI plan. For related workflows, see how to audit all your Typeform forms or the Typeform in Google Sheets overview.
