Bulk-Enrich a Coin Watchlist With Full Profiles From a Excel workbook

The Scenario

Your research team is running due diligence on a basket of 25 altcoins for a potential fund allocation. Someone has already done the first pass — the 25 coin names are in column A of an Excel workbook. Now you need the full profile for each one: description, total supply, all-time high, and official website. This is the data that goes into the due-diligence database that three analysts, a compliance officer, and two LPs will eventually read.

The last time someone did this kind of enrichment, they searched Coinranking for each coin individually, copy-pasted the profile fields one by one, and got to coin 17 before a field came back blank and they weren't sure whether it was actually blank or whether they'd just missed it.

The bad version:

  • For each of the 25 coins, open Coinranking, search for the coin by name, navigate to the coin's profile page, and manually copy description, total supply, all-time high, and website URL into the corresponding row in the workbook.
  • Discover that three of the coin names in column A don't match exactly how Coinranking spells them, so the searches return ambiguous results and you have to make judgment calls about which result is correct.
  • Finish coin 20, go back to verify coin 14, and realize you pasted the wrong all-time high — it came from the coin above it in the Coinranking interface.

Due diligence exists precisely to catch errors. Having errors in the due-diligence database is not a good look.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is built into your Excel workbook and connects directly to Coinranking. It reads column A, resolves each coin name to its Coinranking UUID, fetches the full profile, and writes the fields into the columns you specify — all in one run.

For each coin name in column A of this worksheet, search Coinranking for its UUID then fetch the full coin details and write name in column B, description in column C, total supply in column D, all-time high in USD in column E, and official website URL in column F

What You Get

  • 25 rows populated in a single run, one per coin
  • Description written as plain text, supply and ATH as numbers, website URL as a clickable link
  • Any coin that Coinranking can't resolve written as "Not found" in column B so you know exactly which ones need manual follow-up — no silent gaps

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Some coin names in column A use ticker symbols instead of full names

For each value in column A — which may be either a coin name or a ticker symbol — search Coinranking for the matching coin and write name, description, total supply, all-time high (USD), and website URL into columns B through F. If a coin can't be matched, write "Unresolved" in column B and leave columns C through F blank.

You want to add a circulating supply column alongside total supply

For each coin name in column A, fetch the Coinranking profile and write full name, total supply, circulating supply, all-time high (USD), and website URL into columns B through F

You want to pull launch date alongside the profile fields

For each coin name in column A, search Coinranking and write name, description, launch date, total supply, all-time high (USD), and official website into columns B through G

Full due-diligence enrichment run with validation in one shot

For each coin name in column A rows 2 through 26, search Coinranking for the matching coin UUID, fetch its full profile, and write full name in column B, 2-sentence description in column C, total supply in column D, circulating supply in column E, all-time high in USD in column F, and official website URL in column G. For any coin that can't be matched, write "Unresolved" in column B and leave the remaining columns blank. When finished, add a count of successfully resolved coins in cell H1.

One prompt, 25 coins, a complete enrichment table with a built-in audit count.
