Bulk-Enroll a Prospect List From Google Sheets Into a Gong Engage Flow

The Scenario

You are a BDR team lead. You have a list of 200 warm MQL contact IDs in an Excel workbook — column A, 200 rows — and you need all of them enrolled in the "Enterprise Outreach" Gong Engage flow by end of business today.

The flow exists. The contacts are in the CRM. You just need them in the sequence.

The slow version:

  • Open Gong Engage
  • Search for contact 1, navigate to their profile, click "Add to flow," select the flow, assign the rep, confirm
  • Repeat 200 times
  • By contact 60 you have missed one, double-enrolled another, and assigned three to the wrong rep because the dropdown reset.

The fast version is one prompt.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Excel workbook that can read your contact list and call Gong's Engage API, so you do not have to touch the Gong interface once per contact.

Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:

Bulk-enroll all 200 contact IDs from this workbook into the Gong Engage flow named "Enterprise Outreach," grouping by the flow owner email in column B. Write enrollment status in column C.

SheetXAI reads column A, reads the owner emails from column B, calls the Gong Engage API, and writes "ENROLLED" or an error into column C for every row.

What You Get

All 200 contacts enrolled with status written back:

  • Each contact in the correct flow — "Enterprise Outreach"
  • Each contact assigned to the owner in column B
  • Column C — "ENROLLED" for successes, error text for any failures

You did not open Gong once. No search, no click-through, no dropdown.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

When the contact list has duplicates

Marketing exported the list from two systems and 30 IDs appear twice.

Before enrolling, deduplicate column A by contact ID, keeping the first occurrence. Then enroll all unique contacts in "Enterprise Outreach," assigning by owner email in column B. Write "DUPLICATE — SKIPPED" in column C for removed rows.

When contacts should go to different owners by territory

West Coast contacts go to one rep, East Coast to another, based on a territory flag in column C.

For each contact ID in column A, enroll in "Enterprise Outreach." If the territory in column C is "West," assign to the rep email in cell D1. If "East," assign to the rep email in cell D2. Write enrollment status in column E.

When you want to skip contacts already active in another flow

Some contacts on the list are mid-sequence in a different Gong flow and should not be double-enrolled.

For each contact ID in column A, check whether they are already active in any Gong Engage flow. If yes, write "ALREADY IN FLOW — SKIPPED" in column C and skip them. Enroll the rest in "Enterprise Outreach" with owners from column B and write "ENROLLED" in column C.

When you want a validation pass before enrolling and then the full enrollment — in one go

You want to confirm the contacts exist in Gong before committing.

First, check each contact ID in column A against Gong. Write "EXISTS" or "NOT FOUND" in column B. Then, for all rows where column B is "EXISTS," enroll them in "Enterprise Outreach" with the owner email from column C. Write enrollment status in column D. After finishing, write a two-sentence summary in cell A202 showing how many were enrolled and how many were skipped.

The pattern: the validation, the filtering, and the bulk enrollment are one ask.
