Enrich a List of IP Addresses With Company Data From Leadfeeder in a Excel

The Scenario

Your team ran a webinar last month. The landing page collected IP addresses in the server logs — 200 of them. Someone exported the log file and dumped the raw IPs into column A of an Excel workbook. Now it's sitting there, a column of numbers with no context, and your manager wants to know which companies attended before the follow-up campaign goes out.

The bad version:

  1. Go into Leadfeeder's UI, paste each IP into the company lookup, read the result, come back to the workbook, type the company name into column B, repeat.
  2. For 200 IPs, that's 200 manual lookups — roughly an afternoon of clicking.
  3. Leadfeeder returns "Unknown" for some IPs, which you have to track separately, and the results don't map back to the workbook automatically.

Nobody hired you to spend an afternoon doing IP lookups by hand. The webinar follow-up needs to go out this week, and this is the step that's blocking it.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI lives inside your Excel workbook and connects to Leadfeeder. It can loop through every IP in your column, call Leadfeeder's IP-to-company resolution for each one, and write the result — company name, industry, country — back into adjacent columns. You don't click anything.

For each IP address in column A, use Leadfeeder's company IP lookup and write the company name, industry, and country into columns B, C, and D — write 'Unknown' if no match

What You Get

  • Column B fills with company names matched to each IP — or "Unknown" for unresolved addresses.
  • Column C gets industry classification for each matched company.
  • Column D gets country.
  • Rows with "Unknown" in column B are easy to filter or exclude for the follow-up campaign.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Some IPs in the column have inconsistent formatting

A few rows have trailing spaces or mixed formats that will fail the lookup.

For each IP in column A, trim any whitespace before sending to Leadfeeder's IP lookup. Write company name, industry, and country into columns B, C, D. Write 'Unknown' for any IP that doesn't resolve.

You want to filter out all Unknowns after enrichment

Your follow-up campaign only targets identified companies.

Enrich the IP addresses in column A using Leadfeeder's IP-to-company lookup. Write results into columns B (company name), C (industry), D (country). After enrichment, delete any rows where column B is 'Unknown' so only identified companies remain in the workbook.

You need to join the enriched data with a second worksheet that has contact info

The webinar registrant emails are in Sheet2 — you want to match them to the enriched company names.

Enrich IPs in Sheet1 column A using Leadfeeder. Write company name to B, industry to C, country to D. Then match company names in Sheet1 column B against company names in Sheet2 column A, and write the corresponding registrant email from Sheet2 column B into Sheet1 column E.

You want enrichment plus a segment column plus only the identified rows copied to a clean worksheet

Enrich all IPs in Sheet1 column A via Leadfeeder. Write company, industry, country into B, C, D. Add a 'Segment' column in E: 'Enterprise' for companies in Finance or Technology, 'SMB' for all others, 'Unknown' for unresolved. Then copy only identified rows (where B is not 'Unknown') to Sheet2 as a clean outreach list.

One prompt, one run — enrichment, segmentation, and deduplication to a clean worksheet.
