The Scenario
The burger restaurant's operations manager got a call from the owner at 8:30 AM: the Loyverse account for the new franchise location has no modifier groups, and the soft opening is at noon. The owner built the full add-on structure in an Excel workbook — 'Add-Ons' — with one row per modifier group, columns for group name, and pairs of option_name/option_price for up to six options.
The workbook is done. It just needs to get into Loyverse before the first ticket prints.
The bad version:
- Open Loyverse's modifier group creator. Create group name. Add first option: name and price. Add second option. Continue through all six. Save.
- Do this for 10 groups.
- The "Cooking Temp" group has options with no prices (free). The form still requires clicking through each option individually to enter them with a zero price.
- At group 7, the POS iPad needs a firmware update and the whole setup process pauses.
