The Scenario
You are a revenue operations analyst. The quarterly pricing review is in two weeks and leadership wants a full picture of every discount currently running in ProAbono, active and draft, before they decide whether to retire any.
You have no idea how many there are. ProAbono has discounts scattered across multiple offer configurations with different amounts, types, and states. Nobody has compiled a master list in months.
The bad version:
- You open ProAbono's discount management UI and start scrolling
- You find 40 discounts across different offer configurations
- You manually copy discount ID, name, amount, type, state, and creation date into Excel for each one
- You finish 20 and your manager pings asking if you also pulled the draft ones
- You go back and look for drafts in a different UI section
- You lose your place and have to reconcile two partial lists
- The pricing review starts with an incomplete discount catalog.
The fast version is one prompt.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Excel workbook that can query ProAbono's discount endpoint so you do not have to copy data from a UI one row at a time.
Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:
List all ProAbono discounts for our business and write discount ID, name, amount, type, state, and creation date into the Discounts tab of this workbook. Include both enabled and draft discounts. Sort by state first (enabled, then draft), then by creation date descending.
SheetXAI calls ProAbono, pulls all discounts across both states, and writes the full catalog into the Discounts tab. Your pricing review input is ready.
What You Get
A complete discount catalog in the Discounts tab:
- Discount ID — for reference in ProAbono
- Name — the label you assigned
- Amount and type — whether it is a fixed amount or a percentage
- State — enabled or draft
- Creation date — so you can see which discounts are oldest and most likely stale
Both enabled and draft discounts are included. You are not reviewing half the data.
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
Discount catalogs have their own quirks. SheetXAI handles them inline.
When you need to filter to a specific offer or product
Leadership only wants to review discounts that apply to the Growth plan, not the full catalog.
List all ProAbono discounts that apply to the "Growth" offer. Write discount ID, name, amount, type, and state into the Discounts tab. Exclude discounts that target a different offer.
When you want to flag discounts that have not been used recently
You want to identify discounts created more than 12 months ago that are still enabled.
List all enabled ProAbono discounts. Add a "Stale" flag in column G for any discount created more than 12 months ago. Sort stale discounts to the top of the Discounts tab.
When you need to summarize total discount exposure
The CFO wants to know the total potential revenue impact of all active discounts.
List all enabled ProAbono discounts. For each percentage-type discount, note the percentage in column E. For fixed-amount discounts, note the amount in column F. Add a summary row at the bottom of the Discounts tab grouping by type and showing the count and average discount value per type.
When you need to compare the discount catalog before and after a pricing change
You ran a pricing change last quarter and want to see which discounts existed before and which were added after.
List all ProAbono discounts. Add a "Pre-Change" flag in column G for any discount created before 2025-10-01. Flag everything after that date as "Post-Change." Group by flag and show a count per group in a summary table below the data in the Discounts tab.
The pattern: instead of copying a discount list by hand, you describe the view you need and SheetXAI queries ProAbono directly.
