The Scenario
Your product team has 350 unprocessed notes piling up in Productboard. The triage session is Wednesday. Four PMs, two hours, the goal being to work through all of them and link each to a feature or close it. But nobody works efficiently triaging through the Productboard UI when there are 350 rows. You need them in an Excel workbook so PMs can filter, sort by source, divide the list, and add a triage-decision column.
You open Productboard. The notes section loads. There's a filter for "unprocessed." There is no export button.
The bad version:
- Screenshot the notes view. Realize screenshots don't scale to 350 rows.
- Try copying from the browser table into Excel. The paste lands as unstructured text.
- Assign a team member to manually copy each note. They get through 80 before the session starts.
The PMs show up Wednesday with 80 rows instead of 350. The other 270 are still sitting there next week.

The full triage-prep build
Export all unprocessed Productboard notes created in the last 90 days. Write note ID in A, text in B, creator in C, date created in D, and source in E. Add column F with header "Triage decision" and leave it blank. Sort by source A to Z, then date oldest first. Flag any note with text shorter than 20 characters in column G as "too-short."
The PMs open the workbook Wednesday, filter by source, and start triaging.
