The Scenario
You are an agency account manager. It is Monday morning. A client just messaged: three campaigns were paused over the weekend and nobody knows who did it.
They were live Friday afternoon. By Saturday they were paused. The client wants answers before the 10 AM call.
The bad version:
- You log into Reddit Ads Manager and look for the account change history
- You scroll through the activity feed manually in reverse chronological order
- You cannot filter by "status change" events
- You copy change events into an Excel workbook by hand: date, entity, field changed, old value, new value, editor
- It is 9:50 AM and you have captured twelve events out of an unknown total.
The fast version is one prompt.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI calls the Reddit Ads account change log API and writes the full audit trail into the workbook, so you never scroll a UI change feed to reconstruct what happened.
Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:
Fetch the Reddit Ads account changelog for the last 7 days and write change date, modified entity type, modified entity name, field changed, old value, new value, and editor into columns A through G of the Changelog tab. Sort by change date descending so the most recent changes appear first.
SheetXAI pulls the full change log and writes every event into the Changelog tab. Complete, sortable, ready for the 10 AM call.
What You Get
A complete change log table in the Changelog tab:
- Column A — change date and time
- Column B — entity type (campaign, ad group, ad, audience)
- Column C — entity name
- Column D — field changed
- Column E — old value
- Column F — new value
- Column G — editor (user who made the change)
Sorted by date descending so the weekend events are at the top. The client gets their answer in the first few rows.
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
Change log audits always have a follow-up question. SheetXAI handles them inline.
When you only want status change events
You do not care about bid or budget edits. You only want to see what was paused, activated, or archived.
Fetch the Reddit Ads account changelog for the last 7 days. Filter to entries where the field changed is "status." Write change date, entity type, entity name, old status, new status, and editor into columns A through F of the Changelog tab. Sort by change date descending.
When you need to attribute changes to a specific user
The client suspects one team member made unauthorized changes.
Fetch the Reddit Ads account changelog for the last 14 days. Filter to entries where the editor is "alex@clientagency.com." Write change date, entity type, entity name, field changed, old value, and new value into columns A through F of the Changelog tab.
When you need a 30-day window because the issue started earlier
The performance degradation started two weeks ago, not just over the weekend.
Fetch the Reddit Ads account changelog for the last 30 days. Write change date, entity type, entity name, field changed, old value, new value, and editor into columns A through G of the Changelog tab. Sort by entity name ascending, then by change date descending, so all changes to the same campaign are grouped.
When you need the change log alongside current campaign status for a full before-and-after view
The audit needs both the change history and the current state of every affected campaign.
Fetch the Reddit Ads account changelog for the last 7 days and write it into the Changelog tab: columns A through G for change date, entity type, entity name, field changed, old value, new value, and editor. Then fetch the current status and daily budget for all campaigns and write them into the Current State tab: columns A through C for campaign name, current status, and current daily budget. This is for a client audit.
The pattern: the change log is in the API. You describe the exact audit table you need and SheetXAI writes it before the call starts.
