Export All Resend Sending Domains Into a Excel Workbook

The Scenario

You are an IT manager at an agency. Your team manages email infrastructure for 14 client accounts, each with its own sending domain in Resend. A verification failure alert fired last week and now the account team wants a compliance record: which domains are verified, which are pending, which failed, and what regions they are in.

The audit needs to live in an Excel workbook on SharePoint so the account team can work from it.

The bad version:

  • You navigate to the Resend dashboard, go to Domains
  • The list shows names and statuses but not regions
  • You click into each domain's detail page to find the region
  • You copy each field into the workbook manually, switching tabs 14 times
  • Ninety minutes to produce a table that should have taken five.

The fast version is one prompt.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Excel workbook that reads the Resend API and writes the domain inventory into the workbook for you.

Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:

Fetch all Resend domains and paste domain name, status, created date, and ID into the DomainAudit tab in this workbook for a compliance review. Use row 1 as a header row.

SheetXAI calls the Resend domains endpoint, pulls all 14 domains, and writes one row per domain with every field pulled from the API. No dashboard clicking, no tab switching.

What You Get

A populated DomainAudit tab:

  • Column A — domain names
  • Column B — verification status (verified, pending, failed, etc.)
  • Column C — created date
  • Column D — domain ID
  • Row 1 — headers

Every domain is accounted for, pulled directly from the API. The account team can sort by column B to find unverified domains immediately, filter by column C to see how long domains have been pending, and add a "client name" or "action required" column right in the workbook.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Domain audits get more useful with extra context. SheetXAI can annotate the workbook in the same prompt.

When you want to flag domains that have been pending for more than 30 days

Domains stuck in "pending" for weeks are likely misconfigured.

Fetch all Resend domains and write name, status, created date, and ID into columns A through D of DomainAudit. Add "STALE PENDING" in column E for any domain with a pending status and a creation date older than 30 days.

When you want to cross-reference the domain list against a client roster in the workbook

The ClientRoster tab has client names in column A and their domains in column B. You want to confirm every client domain is in Resend.

Fetch all Resend domains and write their names into a lookup area starting at column G of DomainAudit. Then check the ClientRoster tab column B and write "in Resend" or "missing from Resend" in column C of ClientRoster for each domain.

When you only want to see verified domains

The compliance record is focused on what is confirmed active.

Fetch all Resend domains. Write only the verified ones into the DomainAudit tab with name, status, and created date in columns A, B, and C.

When you need the full compliance audit in one shot

You want all domains, statuses, dates, stale-pending flags, and a count of verified vs pending at the bottom of the workbook.

Fetch all Resend domains and write name, status, created date, and ID into columns A through D of DomainAudit. Flag "STALE PENDING" in column E for domains pending more than 30 days. Add a summary row at the bottom showing total domains, total verified, and total pending.

The pattern: pulling the domain list and annotating it happen in one prompt.
