The growth team is building a new ad campaign. The brief is specific: 5-star testimonials only, pulled from Endorsal, formatted for ad copy review. The copywriter needs the author name, company, and full testimonial text. Anything below 5 stars doesn't make the cut.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Search Endorsal for all testimonials with a rating of 5 and approval status "approved," then write each one's author name, company, and text into the "Ad Copy" tab starting at row 2.
You want results filtered by a keyword in the testimonial text
Search Endorsal for all testimonials that contain the word "onboarding" in the text and write the author name, company, rating, and text for each match into the "Onboarding Quotes" tab.
You need to cross-reference results against a "do not use" list in another tab
Fetch all 5-star approved testimonials from Endorsal, then check each author email against the "Excluded" tab (column A). Write only testimonials whose author email is not on the exclusion list into the "Final Ad Copy" tab.
Pull 5-star approved testimonials, flag the longest ones, and format the text for ad copy length
Fetch all Endorsal testimonials with rating 5 and status approved. Write them to the "Raw" tab. In column E, flag any testimonial text over 150 characters as "NEEDS TRIM." Then in column F, truncate the text to 140 characters with an ellipsis for those flagged rows and copy the original text for the rest.
