The Scenario
You are a marketing analyst. It is 8:30 AM and your CMO wants a deck ready for the 9 AM leadership call.
Your Q2 campaign performance is sitting in a Google Sheet across eight channels, with columns for impressions, clicks, conversions, and spend. You have thirty minutes.
The bad version of this morning:
- You read the sheet and try to hold 8 channels × 4 metrics in your head
- You type a summary into Gamma's prompt box
- You regenerate three times to fix the slide order
- You manually rewrite headlines because your summary was too thin
- You rebuild the recommendations slide twice because the numbers you typed do not match the sheet
- You miss the 9 AM start.
The good version is one prompt and SheetXAI does the reading for you.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your spreadsheet that reads the data and writes the Gamma prompt for you, so you do not have to summarize anything by hand.
Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:
Generate a Gamma presentation summarizing this Q2 marketing data. One slide per channel showing impressions, clicks, conversions, and spend. Add a summary slide at the front comparing channel performance, and a recommendations slide at the end with three takeaways based on the actual numbers. Use a clean professional theme.
SheetXAI reads the sheet, understands the channel structure, calls Gamma with the right data and prompt, and writes the resulting Gamma URL back into a cell. Click it. Your deck is ready.
What You Get
A Gamma presentation with ten slides:
- 1 summary slide — channel performance at a glance
- 8 per-channel slides — impressions, clicks, conversions, and spend per channel
- 1 recommendations slide — three takeaways grounded in the actual numbers
The recommendations are based on what is in the sheet, not on generic language. If paid social had the worst cost per conversion and email had the best, that is what the slide says.
Want a different angle? Tell SheetXAI to look at month-over-month trends instead of raw totals, or to emphasize ROAS over conversions. It adjusts.
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
Most real marketing sheets are not as clean as the scenario above. SheetXAI can do the cleanup, the analysis, and the deck in the same prompt. A few patterns worth knowing.
When the campaigns have inconsistent names
You exported from three ad platforms and the campaign names do not line up. Same channel, different spellings.
Normalize the campaign names in column A so the same channel across platforms uses the same name. Then generate a Gamma deck summarizing Q2 performance, one slide per normalized channel, plus a summary and a recommendations slide.
When some rows are missing spend
Some rows have spend, others have blanks. You do not want the totals to be wrong, but you also do not want to drop the rows without flagging them.
Find every row in this sheet where spend is blank. List those rows on a "Data Gaps" slide at the end of the deck. Exclude them from the channel totals on the per-channel slides. Then generate the rest of the Q2 deck as normal.
When it is a raw export with no analysis yet
You pulled the raw export from your data warehouse and have not touched it. No CPA, no ROAS, no commentary. SheetXAI does both the analysis and the deck in one go.
Look at the raw campaign data in columns A through F. Calculate CPA and ROAS per channel and put them in columns G and H. Identify the top three and bottom three performers by ROAS. Write a short paragraph summarizing what changed versus Q1 (the Q1 numbers are in the Q1 tab, column G). Then turn it all into a 10-slide Gamma exec deck with a summary slide, per-channel slides, and a final recommendations slide.
When the data lives across multiple tabs
The Paid tab has paid channels, the Organic tab has organic, and the Email tab has email. You want one consolidated view, not three separate decks.
Combine the Paid tab, the Organic tab, and the Email tab into one consolidated view. Calculate total conversions and total spend across all three. Then generate a single Gamma deck with one slide per source channel and a final cross-channel summary slide showing the share of conversions each source contributed.
The pattern: instead of cleaning the sheet first and then asking for a deck, you ask for both in one prompt. SheetXAI handles the conditional thinking inline, which is what makes the messy-data case faster than the clean-data case used to be.
Try It
Get the 7-day free trial of SheetXAI and open any sheet with multi-channel performance data, then ask it to turn the data into a Gamma deck. The Gamma integration is included in every SheetXAI plan. For a step up, see how to generate one Gamma doc per row or the Gamma in Google Sheets overview.
