The Scenario
The cybersecurity company you work for just opened up a new segment: mid-market CISOs. Your manager wants a list of fifty of them — US-based, companies between 500 and 5,000 employees — ready for sequencing by Monday morning. It is Friday afternoon.
This isn't a one-time scrape. The segment strategy is new, which means you'll be refreshing this list every few weeks as prospects move through the funnel. However you build it this time is how you'll build it every time.
The bad version:
- Open LeadIQ, configure the people search filters — job title contains CISO, country US, employee count range 500–5000 — page through results, select contacts one by one, add them to a list.
- Export the list from LeadIQ to CSV.
- Open the CSV, copy the four columns you actually need, paste them into your outreach sheet, reformat the headers, delete the columns you don't need.
- Realize the export sorted differently than the UI preview and spend fifteen minutes reconciling whether all 50 results came through or if some were cut off.
This process works once. The second time you run it, you'll do it the same way. And the third time.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI is an AI agent built into your Google Sheet. It reads the sheet, understands the context, and through its LeadIQ integration it can run a parameterized search and write the results directly into the sheet — no export, no reformatting.
Search LeadIQ for CISOs at US companies with 500 to 5000 employees, pull the top 50 results, and write name, company, email, and LinkedIn URL into my sheet starting at row 2
What You Get
- Starting at row 2, each of the top 50 results occupies one row.
- Columns are populated with full name, company name, verified work email, and LinkedIn URL — in the order you specified.
- The sheet is ready for the next step without any reformatting.
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
You want VP-level and above in a specific industry, not just a single title
Find all VP-level or higher contacts in the Financial Services industry at companies with more than 1000 employees using LeadIQ's people search and write results into my sheet — one contact per row — with columns for name, company, email, and LinkedIn URL
The results include contacts already in your CRM, which you want to exclude
Search LeadIQ for CISOs at US companies with 500 to 5000 employees, pull up to 60 results, and write name, company, email, and LinkedIn URL into my sheet starting at row 2. Then check each email against the existing emails in Sheet2 column A and mark any matches in column E as "already in CRM"
You need results from multiple title variations in one list
Search LeadIQ for contacts with the title CISO or Chief Information Security Officer or VP of Security at US companies with 500 to 5000 employees. Deduplicate by email, then write name, title, company, email, and LinkedIn URL into my sheet — up to 75 rows
Pull the list, deduplicate, cross-check against existing contacts, and flag the cleanest targets
Search LeadIQ for CISO and VP of Security contacts at US companies with 500 to 5000 employees. Pull up to 80 results, deduplicate by email, cross-reference against Sheet2 column A to flag anyone already in the CRM, and write the remaining contacts into this sheet with name, company, email, LinkedIn URL, and a "new" or "existing" label in column F
The combined prompt does the research and the triage in one shot, so the list you hand to the sequence tool is already clean.
