Export All Productlane Issues to a Google Sheet for a Product Health Dashboard

The Scenario

Every Monday, your product operations team sends a product health overview to the executive team. The overview needs a current snapshot of all Productlane issues — title, status, priority, project name, and number of linked insights — formatted as a Google Sheet.

This is the third Monday in a row that you are responsible for putting it together.

The bad version:

  • Open the Productlane issue list, filter by status or project, and start copying rows into the sheet row by row.
  • The issue list does not show the number of linked insights as a column, so you have to open each issue individually to get that count.
  • After 20 issues you realize you forgot to include the project name column and have to go back through all of them again.

You are an analyst. This is not analysis. This is data entry.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It reads your Productlane workspace and writes the full issue list directly into the sheet — no clicking through the UI, no row-by-row copying, no column-by-column reformatting.

List all issues from our Productlane workspace and write issue title, status, priority, project name, and identifier into this sheet

What You Get

  • Column A: issue title
  • Column B: current status
  • Column C: priority level
  • Column D: project name the issue belongs to
  • Column E: Productlane issue identifier (e.g. PL-142)
  • Every issue in the workspace, not just the first page visible in the UI

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You only want open or in-progress issues, not completed or cancelled ones

List all Productlane issues where status is not "Done" and not "Cancelled" — write title, status, priority, project name, and identifier into columns A through E

You want to include the number of linked customer insights per issue

List all Productlane issues and write title, status, priority, project name, identifier, and the count of linked customer insights into columns A through F — sort by insight count descending

The priority column has different values and you want them normalized

List all Productlane issues, normalize the priority field to one of: Urgent, High, Medium, Low, or None — write title, normalized priority, status, and project name into columns A through D

Full snapshot with filter, normalize, and sort in one pass

List all Productlane issues where status is not Done and not Cancelled — normalize priority to Urgent, High, Medium, Low, or None — sort by priority (Urgent first) then by linked insight count descending — write title, priority, status, project name, identifier, and insight count into columns A through F

One prompt produces a sorted, normalized snapshot ready to paste into the executive deck.
