The Scenario
You are a paid social manager at an agency. You are about to pitch a Reddit Ads strategy refresh to a client. Before you can propose new audiences, you need to know what audiences are already saved in the account.
The account has been running for two years. You know there are at least thirty saved audiences in there. Some are probably duplicates. Some are probably stale. Some might be targeting criteria that no longer make sense.
The pitch is next Thursday. It is Monday.
The bad version:
- You log into Reddit Ads Manager and navigate to the audience library
- You click through each saved audience to see the targeting details
- You try to copy the relevant fields into a Google Sheet by hand: audience name, targeting type, creation date, status
- Some audiences have multi-layered targeting that is difficult to summarize
- By audience twelve you realize you cannot remember which ones you already reviewed.
The fast version is one prompt.
The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI
SheetXAI pulls the full saved audience library from the Reddit Ads API and writes it to the sheet in one pass, so you never click through individual audience records in Ads Manager.
Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:
List all saved audiences in my Reddit Ads account and write audience name, targeting summary, creation date, and status into columns A through D. Sort by creation date ascending so the oldest audiences appear first.
SheetXAI calls the Reddit Ads saved audiences endpoint, formats the response, and writes the full library into the sheet. Thirty audiences, four columns, one prompt.
What You Get
A complete saved audience inventory in the sheet:
- Column A — audience name
- Column B — targeting summary (interest categories, communities, demographic criteria)
- Column C — creation date
- Column D — status (active, paused, archived)
Sorted by creation date ascending so the oldest, most likely stale audiences surface at the top.
Want a different angle? Ask SheetXAI to flag audiences that have not been used in 90 days or group audiences by targeting type (interest, community, custom). It adjusts.
What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
Audience audits always turn up complications. SheetXAI handles them in the same prompt.
When you need more detail on the targeting criteria per audience
The summary field might not give you enough to evaluate targeting quality. You want the raw targeting parameters.
List all saved audiences in my Reddit Ads account. Write audience ID into column A, audience name into column B, interest targeting into column C, community targeting into column D, demographic criteria into column E, creation date into column F, and status into column G.
When you need to flag duplicate audiences
Two audiences with the same name or the same targeting set are wasted configuration. You want them identified.
List all saved audiences in my Reddit Ads account into columns A through D (name, targeting summary, creation date, status). In column E, flag any audience whose name matches another audience's name exactly by writing "DUPLICATE NAME." In column F, flag any pair with identical targeting summaries by writing "DUPLICATE TARGETING."
When you only want active audiences for the pitch
Archived and paused audiences are noise for the pitch deck.
List all saved audiences in my Reddit Ads account where status is active. Write audience name, targeting summary, creation date, and audience size estimate into columns A through D. Sort by audience size descending so the largest audiences appear first.
When you need the audience inventory combined with campaign usage data to see which audiences are actually running
Some audiences are saved but never attached to a live campaign. You want to know which ones are actually running before the pitch.
List all saved audiences in my Reddit Ads account into columns A through D (name, targeting summary, creation date, status). Then fetch all active campaigns in my account and check which audience IDs each campaign uses. Write "IN USE" into column E for audiences currently attached to an active campaign, and "UNUSED" for audiences that are not. Sort by column E so the unused audiences appear first.
The pattern: instead of clicking through each audience in Ads Manager, you describe the full audit table you need and SheetXAI builds it from the API in one pass.
Try It
