The Scenario

You are a marketing manager. The quarter ends Friday. Your VP wants a quarterly email campaign report and she has asked for it as a structured table, not a dashboard screenshot.

You have 30 broadcasts sent via Resend over the past three months. You need a Google Sheet with one row per broadcast: name, status, and send date. From there you can add open rate and click rate data from another source and build the summary your VP is expecting.

The bad version:

  • You navigate to the Resend Broadcasts section in the dashboard
  • You can see the list of broadcasts but cannot export it
  • You copy name, status, and date for each broadcast manually into the sheet, one row at a time
  • By broadcast 20 you realize you have been copying the scheduled date, not the actual send date, for the last five rows
  • You hand the VP a table with wrong dates in five rows and she asks you to redo it.

The fast version is one prompt.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Google Sheet that reads the Resend API and writes the broadcast log into the sheet for you.

Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:

List all Resend broadcasts and write each broadcast's name, status, and created date into columns A, B, and C of the BroadcastLog sheet. Use row 1 as a header row.

SheetXAI calls the Resend broadcasts endpoint, pulls all 30 broadcasts, and writes one row per broadcast. Name in A, status in B, created date in C. Every broadcast, every field, pulled directly from the API so the dates are right.

What You Get

A populated BroadcastLog sheet with one row per Resend broadcast:

  • Column A — broadcast name
  • Column B — status (sent, draft, queued, canceled, etc.)
  • Column C — created date
  • Row 1 — headers

Every broadcast is accounted for, with the correct dates from the API. You can sort by column C to confirm quarterly coverage, filter by column B to separate sent from draft, and add open rate and click rate columns from your analytics tool to build the full report.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Broadcast logs get more useful with extra context. SheetXAI can pull additional fields and annotate the sheet in the same prompt.

When you want the audience alongside name and status

The VP wants to see which audience each broadcast went to.

List all Resend broadcasts and write broadcast name, audience, status, and send date into columns A through D of the BroadcastLog sheet.

When you only want this quarter's broadcasts

The account has 90 broadcasts going back two years and you only want Q2.

List all Resend broadcasts. Filter to those with a send date in Q2 2026 (April 1 through June 30). Write name, status, and send date into columns A, B, and C of BroadcastLog.

When you want to flag broadcasts that were scheduled but never sent

Some broadcasts may be stuck in "queued" or left as "draft" from a campaign that was canceled.

List all Resend broadcasts and write name, status, and created date into columns A, B, and C of BroadcastLog. Add "NEVER SENT" in column D for any broadcast with a status of draft or queued and a created date older than 30 days.

When you need the full quarterly report in one shot

You want all broadcasts for the quarter, with audience, sorted by send date, and a summary at the bottom showing total broadcasts per status.

List all Resend broadcasts with a send date in Q2 2026. Write broadcast name, audience, status, and send date into columns A through D of BroadcastLog. Sort by column D ascending. Add a summary table starting at row 35 showing total broadcasts, total sent, total draft, and total canceled.

The pattern: pulling the broadcast list and enriching it happen in one prompt. The VP gets a complete quarterly log without anyone copying rows from the Resend dashboard.
