Export All Resend Broadcasts Into a Excel Workbook for a Campaign Report

The Scenario

You are a marketing manager. The quarter ends Friday. Your VP wants a quarterly campaign report as a structured table in an Excel workbook, not a dashboard screenshot.

You have 30 Resend broadcasts from the past three months. You need a workbook tab with one row per broadcast: name, audience, status, and send date. From there you will add open rate and click rate from your analytics platform and build the summary report.

The bad version:

  • You navigate to the Resend Broadcasts section in the dashboard
  • The list is there but there is no export
  • You copy name, audience, status, and date for each broadcast manually into the workbook
  • By broadcast 22 you realize you have been copying the scheduled date, not the actual send date, for the last eight rows
  • You hand the VP a table with wrong dates in eight rows and she sends it back.

The fast version is one prompt.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent inside your Excel workbook that reads the Resend API and writes the broadcast log into the workbook for you.

Open the SheetXAI sidebar and type:

Fetch all Resend broadcast campaigns and paste the broadcast name, audience, status, and send date into columns A through D of the CampaignHistory tab in this workbook. Use row 1 as a header row.

SheetXAI calls the Resend broadcasts endpoint, pulls all 30 broadcasts, and writes one row per broadcast. Name in A, audience in B, status in C, send date in D. Every broadcast, correct dates, no dashboard clicking.

What You Get

A populated CampaignHistory tab with one row per Resend broadcast:

  • Column A — broadcast name
  • Column B — audience
  • Column C — status (sent, draft, queued, canceled, etc.)
  • Column D — send date
  • Row 1 — headers

Every broadcast is there, with the correct dates from the API. Sort by column D to confirm quarterly coverage, filter by column C to separate sent from draft, and add open rate and click rate columns from your analytics tool to complete the report.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

Broadcast logs get more useful with extra context. SheetXAI can pull more fields and annotate the workbook in the same prompt.

When you only want this quarter's broadcasts

The account has 90 broadcasts going back two years and you only need Q2.

Fetch all Resend broadcasts. Filter to those with a send date in Q2 2026 (April 1 through June 30). Write name, audience, status, and send date into columns A through D of CampaignHistory.

When you want to flag broadcasts that were scheduled but never sent

Some broadcasts may be stuck in "queued" or left as "draft" from a canceled campaign.

Fetch all Resend broadcasts and write name, audience, status, and send date into columns A through D of CampaignHistory. Add "NEVER SENT" in column E for any broadcast with a status of draft or queued and a creation date older than 30 days.

When you want a summary count per status at the bottom

The VP wants to see totals at a glance, not just the full list.

Fetch all Resend broadcasts for Q2 2026 and write name, audience, status, and send date into columns A through D of CampaignHistory. Add a summary table below the data showing total broadcasts, total sent, total draft, and total canceled.

When you need the full quarterly report in one shot

You want all Q2 broadcasts, with audience, sorted by send date, NEVER SENT flags, and a status summary all in one workbook.

Fetch all Resend broadcasts with a send date in Q2 2026. Write name, audience, status, and send date into columns A through D of CampaignHistory. Sort by column D ascending. Flag "NEVER SENT" in column E for any broadcast that is draft or queued with a creation date older than 30 days. Add a summary table below the data showing total broadcasts, total sent, total draft, and total canceled.

The pattern: pulling the broadcast log and enriching it happen in one prompt. The VP gets a complete quarterly record without anyone copying rows from the Resend dashboard.
