Snapshot Your Retently NPS Score and Survey Outbox Into a Google Sheet

The Scenario

Your team's weekly CX standup is at 9 AM Monday. You run it from a Google Sheet that the whole team has open — a single source of truth for where things stand. What is missing is the piece everyone asks about first: what is the current NPS score, and which surveys are queued to go out this week. That data lives in Retently. Getting it into the sheet before 9 AM means someone has to open Retently, write down the score, then manually copy the outbox entries into the table.

That person is usually you. It is 8:47 AM.

The bad version:

  • Open Retently, find the current NPS score in the dashboard, switch to the sheet, type it into cell B2.
  • Go back to Retently, navigate to the outbox or scheduled surveys view, read out the recipient email, campaign name, and send time for each queued entry, switch back to the sheet, type them in one by one.
  • Discover the outbox has 34 entries and you are already three minutes late starting the standup.

The standup does not wait. The manual data entry does not get faster.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

SheetXAI is an AI agent that lives inside your Google Sheet. It reads the sheet layout, understands where the data should land, and through its built-in Retently integration it can pull the live NPS score and the full outbox in a single request — writing the score to the right cell and populating the outbox table in the right range. You describe where you want it; it puts it there.

Get the current Retently NPS score and write it to cell B2, then list all surveys in the outbox with recipient email, campaign name, and scheduled send time in the Outbox sheet starting at row 5

What You Get

  • Cell B2 receives the current overall NPS score as a number.
  • The Outbox sheet gets one row per queued survey starting at row 5, with columns for email, campaign name, and scheduled send time.
  • If the outbox is empty, a single row with No surveys queued appears at row 5 so the table is never blank.
  • The existing content above row 5 in the Outbox sheet — your headers, summary cells — is not touched.

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready

You want the NPS score alongside a 30-day trend comparison

Get the current Retently NPS score and write it to cell B2 — also write the NPS score from 30 days ago into cell C2 and calculate the change (positive or negative) into cell D2

The outbox table needs to be sorted by send time ascending

List all Retently outbox surveys into the Outbox sheet starting at row 5 — sort by scheduled send time ascending so the most imminent surveys appear first — include columns for email, campaign name, and send timestamp

You want to filter the outbox to one specific campaign

Write the current Retently NPS score to cell B2, then list all outbox entries for the Post-Onboarding NPS campaign only into the Outbox sheet starting at row 5 with email, send time, and campaign name columns

Full dashboard refresh in one pass

Refresh the CX dashboard: write the current Retently NPS score into cell B2, the total number of active survey campaigns into cell B3, and the count of outbox entries into cell B4 — then clear and repopulate the Outbox sheet from row 5 with all queued surveys (email, campaign name, send time) sorted by send time ascending

One prompt handles the summary cells and the detail table in a single refresh.
