The Problem With Getting Data In and Out of StoreRocket

Method 1: Manual Copy-Paste
The default. Open StoreRocket, navigate to account settings or the locations list, copy what you need, switch to your sheet, paste. Or the reverse: format your sheet, export as CSV, drag it into StoreRocket's import tool.

This works for event-driven moments: a single new location added to the sheet triggers a record in StoreRocket. Done cleanly.
This fails for batch and analytical work: anything that operates on many rows at once, anything that needs to check account state before writing, anything where the schema changes across location types. You also pay per task and the costs compound fast once you chain verification steps into the same flow.
Method 3: The Previous Generation — Connector Add-Ons
Until recently, the best option for repeatable spreadsheet ↔ StoreRocket workflows was a category of add-ons that let you manually configure column mappings and save templates. You picked your range, tagged your fields, saved a config, and ran it.
That was a real step up from copy-paste. Output was consistent, configs were reusable, the team didn't have to redo formatting every run.
But you were still responsible for the template design, the field mapping, the schedule, the conditional logic about which locations to include, the renaming of columns. The tool moved the data through, but the thinking was still on you. And the moment your sheet structure changed, your config broke until someone went back in and fixed it.
This is the previous generation. It worked, but it asked a lot of the operator.
