The Scenario
You are a documentation lead. The company finished a product rename last week. Legal wants the label "needs-review" added to all 60 pages in the Support Confluence space that still carry the old product label, and they want it done by Friday. You have the 60 page IDs in an Excel workbook, column A.
It is Wednesday afternoon.
The bad version of the next two days:
- Open Confluence, navigate to the first page by ID, click the label settings, type "needs-review," save
- Navigate back, find the next page by ID
- By page 20 you are navigating by memory and getting the wrong pages
- Thursday morning, you realize Confluence does not show you the page ID in the URL on some page types
- Finish Friday morning, two hours late, and email legal a note explaining the delay.

The Easy Way: One Prompt in SheetXAI

What If the Data Is Not Quite Ready
Label jobs rarely go perfectly. SheetXAI handles the complications in the same prompt.
When you need to swap labels
The old label "legacy-product" needs to come off at the same time "needs-review" goes on.
Remove the label "legacy-product" from all Confluence pages listed in column A and add the label "needs-review" to the same pages. Write the result into column B for each row.
When column A has a mix of page IDs and page titles
The workbook was assembled by hand and some rows have numeric IDs, others have plain-English page titles.
For each row in column A: if it is a numeric ID use it directly. If it looks like a page title, search Confluence for that title to get the ID. Then add the label "needs-review" to the page. Write the page ID and result into columns B and C.
When only flagged rows need the label
The workbook has 60 rows but column B has a flag and only the rows marked "Y" need the label this week.
Add the label "needs-review" only to Confluence pages in rows where column B is "Y." Write the result into column C for each processed row.
When the label job spans multiple workbook tabs
The compliance requirement covers Support, Engineering, and Product spaces and you have three separate tabs with page IDs.
Add the label "needs-review" to all Confluence pages listed in column A of the Support tab, the Engineering tab, and the Product tab. Combine all results into a new "Results" tab with columns for space, page ID, and label outcome. Write the total count of labeled pages into cell A1 of the Results tab.
