Overview
SheetXAI now auto-detects your locale (number/date formatting conventions) when running SAI transformations. This is designed to prevent common “parse error” and formatting issues caused by different regional settings.
What this changes
- You should no longer need a manual EU/EN toggle step for most workflows.
- Transformations should respect the locale conventions of your sheet (for example, decimal separators and date formats).
If something looks wrong
If you still see unexpected formatting:
- Refresh/reopen SheetXAI and try the operation again
- Double-check your spreadsheet locale (Google Sheets locale / Excel locale)
- Be explicit in your instruction (example: “format dates as YYYY-MM-DD” or “use dot decimals”)
